The used item from Retro vGames was in great condition, clean, fully charged and ready to use right out of the box. It was well packaged and arrived a full day ahead of the estimated delivery time. I have purchased from this seller before, and definitely will again soon, as they are clearly a business that cares about what they do.

Excellent service from Retro vGames

The 3DS XL came in excellent condition with no scratches. Additionally, the battery life is good so far. Overall an excellent product. Shipping took a while due to the Canada Post strike but I think would be a lot faster now that it is over.

Good product

Mint condition. No blemishes of any kind. Could pass as refurbished. Arrived early in a plain box in bubble

I can't believe it is used!

This was a really good handheld console to play 3ds games on. It really brought back a lot of fun memories for me.

Good handheld

I was very hesitant to purchase as I saw some mixed reviews left, and there is no photos of the actual console you will end up receiving.
Long story short, I took the chance and everything turned out great!
A few key notes to consider for future purchasers:
- The console will be coming from Japan, and is actually the new Nintendo 3DS *LL* model (NOT XL which is the North American counterpart). However, the 3DS arrived already modded and factory resetted so there is no region lock. Once you boot up the system it's as if you are registering it for the first time.
- The console comes with a charge cable and that's it (no charge brick, no SD card). It was wrapped in 1-layer of bubble wrap and put into a standard Fedex packet which made me nervous since it flew half-way around the world to get to me, but it arrived with no signs of damage.
- Shipping was super quick, for reference I am in Hamilton, ON, Canada, I placed the order on Monday November 18th and received it on Thursday November 21st.
- The console is in great condition especially considering it's over 10 years old. The only thing you can really notice is the surface hazing on the glossy outside shell, which is to be expected.

Great condition and shipped super fast

Perfect case, choice of the applications included in the device that did not match our expectations, that is why we returned the device. Thanks.

Better description of the content

Item being returned - not what was described
It was suppose to be 3DS XL and it was a 3DS LL which is location locked and only uses Japanese games

Not as described

I expected some scratches on the body since it's a used console; instead, the 3ds' screens are also full of scratches: both the top and bottom. The exterior shell has some, while the interior is just full of scratches. This should not be labeled "Lightly Used" as it is not. It's extremely used. Also, be aware that this is not a North American console.

Not "Lightly Used"

I understand its a second hand item, but the one I had is way to old.
1.loosing top monitor
2.third party USB charger.
3.lots of scraches on the body
4.come with only a layer of foam paper in the card box.

It's a discountiuned item, For those who like me, buying 3DS for collection purpose, skip it.

Poor Condition

The 3ds xl is actually a 3ds LL and cannot play a lot of 3ds games

Not what is advertised

Lightly Used Nintendo New 3DS XL (Blue) - Excellent Condition Refurbished handheld gaming console, blue closed clam-shell view with top-screen outline and hinge; built-in C Stick and face-tracking 3D, console only (no games or accessories), often used for portable retro play.
