bought it for a livingroom toybox for my almost 4 yr old. he loves it, like I hope he would. big enough just for his livingroom toys. was delay a lil but it came in on time. box was beat up alil but all boards was in good shape except the thin piece that goes in the storage area one holes in it mess up a lil but can't tell since I flip the board. all in all it cute cheap storage bench that can be use as toybox or shoes, clothes ,

I am extremely pleased with this bench. It's not going to be passed down for generations, but it is great quality for the price. It is exactly as described and fits perfectly in the spot I had in mind for it. I found the assembly instructions to be very clear. Pieces and parts were well-marked, and I was able to assemble the entire thing by myself (and I'm no expert by any definition) in about an hour.  I recommend this piece. What you get is what is advertised.

Terrific value

Fits perfectly in the bedroom.  Good construction-  needs 2 people to put together.  Can actually sit on it.

Excellent choice for a “hope chest, storage chest”

Really love this chair . Only draw back it , while assembling the furniture it does not come together properly , we have struggle had to make it .. screw alingment is not proper ..otherwise chair is good

Attractive..but some design flaws

I purchased the Linon home Storage Bench for my entry way. It arrived early, easy to set up and looks very elegant.

Easy and Elegant

Packaged very well. It does however take 2 for assembly. Not possible for 1. ALthough was easy to assemble,directions were good.

great for a hallway

It's a very nice looking piece of furniture. I just felt the bottom inside piece could have been a little larger. Came with no directions so I did not know where to install the large hinges so I put it together not using them.

Linon Storage Bench

Our package had a cracked side handle, a cracked support beam and a smaller  crack across the back support. It was a perfect match with the rest of our furniture but due to the poor quality we had to return it. The other gotcha is lower back piece is not wood, but cork like. So wouldn't recommend it if the back is going to be visible.

Poor Quality

Item constructed ok, but the finish is horrible.  This is NOT walnut color.  It is a cherry wood color. Not what I wanted or expected.  The top seating surfaces have half inch wide by 3 inch long marks like tape was on the surface when it was finished.  The right side has 7 of these marks, the left has 3.  There are knicks and abrasions on many exposed surfaces.  Looks pretty bad.  I would not recommend purchasing.

Cherry, not walnut.  Very poor finish.
