I just received this chair, so I cannot speak to its durability, etc. However, I am bedazzled by it.  I looked at many, many chairs before I finally ordered this -- changed my mind dozens of times.  I cannot have blah -- I need different and bold, and this chair has both. Granted, it is likely a piece that some will love, but that others will regard as "too much." 
The colors are beautiful.
Assembly -- adding legs -- was really easy.
The seat is firm, which is what I was looking for.
