Very nice and loud sounds, the figures and the plastic seems of good quality. Only downsides are: it requires 6 size C batteries (not so easy to find) and the big size (which makes it not so suitable for a small apartment such as mine, but I'll keep it as an ornament until I own a house). On the wireless remote, you have a button for the bell, another for the steam horn and one more for an "all onboard" call. Also, you can regulate the speed forward and backwards. The rail path smallest diameter is 1.2 meters.

Very good quality

This has to be the best Christmas Lionel Train. I could not decide on a Christmas Train for my 5 year old Grandson. Instead of going for the cheaper ones this Lionel Train has more functions.  Lots of tracks to make a big oval or a smaller track to go around the tree. Has a remote which talks, sings and makes a choo choo sound. Train has a headlight which is awesome.  Good price.

The train was very easy to assemble and use, and was as advertised. It seems sturdy enough, and is a nice size.
It will be a nice addition to our Christmas decorating.

Great train set / good size

just rails issue on mine. i think mine just got damaged on arrival.

The sounds are cute but the locomotive falls off the track even when we set it up as per instructions. Overall the train set is low quality and cheaply made.

Cute but low quality

this train is disappointing. it doesn't go around very many times before it just quits. if you hit the sound buttons, it definitely stops working, and the four D cell batteries are brand new. it should work but doesn't. my grandson is very disappointed as am I.
