The holes in the handles were not entirely punched through when I opened the pack - I hesitantly pushed the pieces out myself the best I could. The other edges, holes, and surfaces have some jagged edges and nicks, that snagged further as well as snagged the sponge and towel as I gently tried to wash and dry them for the first time (in accordance with instructions). Little bits of material also came off of the products during this process... I do not know if this would discontinue or not after multiple uses and washes. I have not yet tried cooking with them but I am concerned about these issues in regards to using them to prepare my food. I am disappointed that I am unable to feel confident in these as I was excited about transitioning to a set of bamboo utensils after having great success with other bamboo cookware and products. I would not purchase bamboo items from this brand again, which I was previously planning on doing.

I am a bit bummed about these...
