Very cute for girls or boys who love pups! A couple things distinguish this ADOPTION pack from the MAMA SURPRISE FAMILY HOUSE pack:
1) There is no mama in this pack.
2) It is not possible to get the limited edition dogs in this pack.

I opened a whole bunch of them and was pretty impressed with the value %26 variety. Sure, there were dupes, but the puppies are well made, attractive, and the carrier they are in is crafted to be both exciting %26 fun. I like how each door you open has the puppy in a different 'ambience' (backdrop). 

I would recommend this especially for smaller gifts, rewards, or adding to a Mama Surprise Family House pack. 

There is a cute collector's booklet included in this pack, and it shows you how rare each type of pup is. Collector kids will love that! :) The flocked ones are ultra rare and very nice overall.

Each of these adoption kits also comes with a mini sticker sheet featuring the dogs YOU got in YOUR pack and also possibly accessories/the logo, etc. But my favorite part of these packs is, *EACH DOOR OPENS TO A PRIZE.* Even if the door does not have a puppy, it will have a nice accessory instead. These accessories are nice %26 big, dollhouse-furniture style. I think that's an AWESOME idea for kids to enjoy the surprise and also not feel sad if it doesn't go as they expected.

Even though the box says you can get "2, 3, or 4" puppies, I NEVER GOT LESS THAN 3 in eight opened boxes, and there was some indication on the little pamphlet included it might be very rare or not possible to only get 2, but I'm not sure.
