[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This nostalgic little frame will take you back to your great-grandmother's house or maybe what you imagine her house looking like. It is definitely based off of the Victorian style. It has simple clean lines and brightens any child or guest room. It is appropriate for either gender. My frame, which is white, is for a boy but it is plain enough for a girl as well. 
 This bed frame is fairly easy to put together. It still takes two adults to assemble it but only because you need one to screw the pieces together and one to hold the pieces steady. 
A couple of things to be aware of are: you must have a foundation (like a box spring) under your mattress with this frame as there are no slats - just a couple of cross braces; also you cannot use power tools to assemble this bed because of the way the frame boards are oriented. Power tools will not fit in the space provided. 
A little extra that the company adds is an activity printed on the inside of the shipping box. My two children had fun painting it (paint not included) and staying out of trouble while we assembled the frame.

You might wonder why I say that. I can feel it and see it so I can tell it's a quality item. it's not nice how it arrived though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Little Seeds Rowan Valley Linden Bed came in the mail packaged well to prevent any chances of shipping damage. The box is large and heavy which is to be expected for a bed. I was pleasantly surprised to find both the headboard and footboard are already put together for you. The frame needs to be built and connected to the headboard and footboard. When putting the frame of the bed together it was fairly easy. The longest and most tedious steps are the screws that you need to use the supplied allen wrench with. I am a bit bias since I generally do prefer putting together furniture that uses a standard screwdriver instead. I was happy to finally get out the screwdriver for much of the last steps. As soon as I saw the sides of the bed frame I realized this bed was going to need a box spring mattress. As you can see from the pictures of the bed, the box spring I ordered had not come before taking the photos. This is why the mattress looks so low in the bed. I suggest buying a box spring mattress that has some thickness to it since it will sit low into the frame with the wood sides of the bed around it. Although I like how the sides come up around the box spring, I am a little nervous about this being my daughter's first big bed since I'm thinking she still may have a few more roll-offs during the night. The nice thing is the sides are angled but not overly sharp if she did bump it on the way down. The headboard and footboard are ideal for her age since there are no sharp corners for her to run into or jump and fall on. The beautiful rounded corners and twisted detailing really gives this bed an elegant look that has an antique feel but still modern. The twisted wood detailing continues on the feet of the bed making it appear a bit high-end from the look of other beds with much more plain detailing. Once the bed was together it really stands out in a room. The bright white looks fabulous against colored walls with white trim. I feel like I'm not doing the bed justice when I had to put an old comforter on it. This bed definitely calls for a pretty bedspread or comforter with cute matching pillows. Overall, my daughter loves her new bed and I'm happy with the look and good quality that will last into her tweens or teens.

Stylish Twin Bed for Child to Teen

The bed is very cute, but like other reviews mentioned there is a huge gap between the side rail and mattress/box spring with a standard size twin bed in there, bed is weirdly too wide! Also, I have average size female hands and the small openings to have to screw on the pieces to tighten the side rails to the head and footboard is extremely small and annoying! Took far too long for a simple task because I could barely get my hands in there or the wrench in there to tighten it.

Now we have to put the old bed back together. Not happy. I did not contact customer service or the store, since I received it for free.
