My 3 year old loves this easel. He can use it with minimal help from us and that is great because he is so independent. In addition, he and a friend can both play with it without fighting over whose turn it is. Great for little artists as well. We purchased window markers as well so he has more choices for coloring and drawing.

My 4 year old daughter got this for her birthday, her and my 18 months old can use it at the same time. I love that there is no chalkboard! The paints that come with it are cool, cause they are like marker paints and don't make a mess. Although there are also the regular paints but I love the marker paints! Comes with a few sheets of paper too. We just throw a bunch of crayons in the bottom and they can both color. Glad little tikes came out with this one over the others out there!

The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was because they have used crayon on the board, it does come off I just haven't tried very hard (only with a damp cloth) I'm guessing windex or soap and water would work. Otherwise water works but I have to scrub a little harder.

Great Easel! (4 year old and 18 month old use it)

I bought this product for my granddaughters' 2nd birthday. She enjoys playing with it and it also was a win, win for her 8 year old sister as well. It took about 30 minutes to put together and the only problem we had was the light feature was a little 'touchy'. It was not very bright and works better in a dark or dim lighted room. The on/off button for the light didn't seem to work every time at first, but seems fine now. As far as the paint/markers go, the paint pods that came with it were put away because the 2 year old was a little too young. The paint 'markers' that came with it are nice but require an older age to manuver and can tend to be a little messy since they will drip when squeezed really hard, but with an adult around worked fine.
My granddaughters loved it and it allows them to play with it very well together.
The down side is that you must have a wet papertowel or rag handy because once they have covered the screen with paint it has to be wiped away in order to start a new masterpiece, and we found that we were wiping it quite frequently to keep the fun going. Also the clip to hold the paper worked great on one side but the opposite side seemed to not hold so well, we had to bend it a little to help it hold the paper.
All in all it is a really fun creative toy that they have gotten a lot of enjoyment out of and I have recommended it to a few friends aready. We found that it can also be used with washable markers just fine if you use a little spray cleaner to remove it easier from the screen.
