We love these Little Tikes chef kits! We were able to snatch this one up on a sale before Christmas. I would 100% have paid retail! My four year old loves them and there enough parts and fun for my 10 year old to play along too!

This was a hit with my kids ages 2-8. Something they could all play together. The pieces are quality and seem durable. We will be buying more. I think we could refill with other play dough and kinetic sand in the future. I also like that the dishes can be used in their play kitchen without the dough/mix.

Such a fun toy! My kids love this! Even my texture-sensitive kiddo enjoys playing with the “sand” in this kit. It's very clean and easy to play with. It really keeps its shape so well! We purchased numerous sets from this collection. ( nachos, waffles, cupcake) kids are now asking to get more.

My sister had ordered a couple sets to leave at our mom's house for the kids to play with when we visit and they played with them for hours. That night, I ordered all available sets for my girls to have at home. My kids and my sister's kids age range from 2-9 and they were happily playing with them. These are very similar to kinetic sand, but they held together more firmly. It reminded me like it was a cross between kinetic sand and play doh. The accessories are thick, durable, plastic and are a great quality; All super cute! It'll definitely withstand years of play. The only downside is that it does have a bit of a vinegar scent to it. But overall, it's worth overlooking and purchasing. I purchased all 8 available sets already to gift my girls for Christmas. I was afraid more people will discover these and they'll sell out or raise their price. Definitely worth purchasing!

I got several of these sets for my grand daughters they love them. The contents are good quality and they play with them all the time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the idea behind the Little Tikes Creative Chefs Nacho Kit—my daughter had a blast making her "nachos," and it's great for developing her motor skills. The kinetic sand is a fun twist, with a Play-Doh-like consistency that molds well.

However, there are a few things that could be improved. The sand comes in different amounts but isn't packaged individually, so I had to find Ziploc bags to store it, since the containers (except for the cheese and sour cream) aren't airtight. The instructions suggest using the box as a play table, but I passed—I'm not keeping a cardboard box as a toy!

Also, I wish it came with more permanent pieces. Once the sand inevitably ends up on the floor and gets swept up, all you're left with is nachos, a tomato, half an avocado, some chips, and a can of beans. A little more thought on storage and long-lasting pieces would make this set even better.

Fun, But Could Use Some Tweaks!
