Little Tikes My First Washing Machine Review
This toy is such a hit in our house! The kids love pretending to do laundry just like mom and dad. It makes realistic sounds, the door opens and spins, and it even comes with little accessories to make playtime feel real. It's the perfect size for toddlers and preschoolers, sturdy enough to handle lots of use, and keeps them entertained for a long time. A fun, imaginative toy that encourages pretend play—we highly recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm comparing this to my children's Little Tykes toys and this purchase for my grandchild was made with thinner plastic. It looks cheaply made and I do understand that this keeps the price down; however, it makes me very sad.

My grand daughter loves to help with laundry so this was a fun purchase for her birthday.  We bought 2 units because she knows the clothes have to go from the washer to the dryer!  Three important things to note

1.   once you take the washer/dryer out of the packaging, the back of the unit comes off and there you find the shelf and the additional baskets/laundry.  This is not noted anywhere and might be easy to miss.

2.  There is a switch on the left side of the unit that controls the realistic sounds and the turning of the drum.  Be sure to switch it from demo mode to use mode.

3.  When replacing the back, it can be pushed  back in to the packaging depth or a wider depth.  Right now hers are pushed back to the packaging depth which is great for smaller spaces but once they move the unit depth will be adjusted to a wider base - great for a larger washer and dryer.

This birthday gift was a hit!  She loves both her washer and dryer!!  I would highly recommend this product for kids who like helping with laundry.

FYI the background and the rest of the baskets are inside the washer .. also it says on the instructions you have to change the batteries.
I change the batteries and now the washer spins and makes other noises.
My 2 year old loves it ., 
They should just put instructions outside so we know how to build it.
 I though they were missing like some other reviews . But overall I love the washer .

Inside the washer is the rest of the stuff

This was so simple and easy to put together. The size is perfect for our 3 yr old Grand daughter. Very well made and she plays with it for hrs at a time.  The only thing in my opinion, is it should come with more clothes.  The sound and lights are great.  She LOVES this toy!!!

Perfect toy to introduce children to real life

At first it wouldn't spin and would only make a noise like water was swishing around (lasted 5 secs). Looked up a video on what it was suppose to do, took it apart but didn't touch anything and put it back together again. Started working great. Spins and has different sounds for the door and knobs. Easy assembly.

Cute

Quite small, not a very interactive toy that you can do much with. Toddler must have an amazing imagination and be entertained by their own creativity to be able to enjoy this toy. Purchased for my 2 kids and they were both over it in less than 2 minutes and never came back to play with it. We have the little tikes fridge and oven which they enjoy so was excited to add this one to our collection too, but it was a bust. Save your money and look elsewhere for a different gift.

Short lived play with an expensive useless toy

Size is perfect, but that's all good things I have to say. The motor is quite simple and seems not strong enough to move the rotor, so it keeps trying to “jump start” it and repeatedly beeps,l - a VERY loud beep that drives us crazy. My kid is frustrated, but he likes it SO MUCH I will return this and take my chances and order another unit. The size and looks are perfect and, as it seems, unique - everything else in the market is way smaller. I hope I have more luck next time.

Motor breaks easily, Poor quality electronics

This washer was a hit christmas morning... for about an hour. The motor for the spin function stopped working within the first hour. That's the main reason we chose this one because it spins and is more realistic.  It's out of stock, so it can't be exchanged. Poor Santa is getting a bad rep over here lol. The size works for our space and assembly was simple.
