my 3.5 yr old daughter absolutely loves this slide!! Honestly we were really worried she'd be too big for it, but to our surprise it's perfect! it's a bit bigger/taller/longer than the standard toddler slide (the only size they made 15 yrs ago lol), she has Soo much fun with it! She runs up to it Hundreds of times everyday to go down the slide~ every time she yells out "i love my slide! thank you soooo much mommy and daddy!" 💖💖💖

Very easy to set up. Sturdy and I believe it will last a long time. Given as a gift for my grandchild, 13 month old. Mom said he went down it ( with adult supervision of course) around 40 times right away. Definitely recommend.purchased it a few months ago but only recently was able to use it due to weather conditions here, I.e. snow or rain.

Little tikes slide.

I absolutely love this and so does my 23 month year old. at first she didn't know how to get on. I showed her a few times and she got it. she fell off once though lol. but she loves it. she'll go down it 20 times in a row. I put it in her room for hot days when we can't go outside. she weighes 23 pounds and it's really sturdy and easy to assemble. highly recommend.

Flimsy but adequate for small toddlers. My 1.5 year old grandson loves it and he easily and safely can climb the ladder and slide by himself. I bought it for outside to also use for sliding into the kiddie pool. Definitely a hit. I just wish it was sturdy enough for my older grandchildren as well.

Sturdy slide in my opinion. My 1 and 4-year-old love it. Definitely keeps them busy and burns their energy off when outside play is limited to weather. They also find other ways to make it fun by putting a blanket over it and making a hidey space or rolling hot wheels roll down it.

Keeps kids busy

Looking for a gift that your 18 month (year and a half old) will actually use. My toddler received this as a gift at about 16 months. She was able to climb the ladder unassisted but needed help sliding. I paired this with a $20 foldable ball pit at the bottom. She is now 20 months and still uses it daily. We kept ours indoors, in the living room. However, it can easily transition outside, as it is only 2 parts and is easy to clean. Assembly, setup, and disassembly are pretty easy.

The gift my 18-month-old actually used!

Purses for 2 1/2 year-old he absolutely loves it out of your safety for him when he's in the house. I like to make sure I move the slide away from the fireplace just for safety issue, but he climbs up and slides down and the absolutely absolutely loves it Best Buy ever simple to put together and affordable, and I will keep them busy for hours and give you some needed time alone.

Love the slide

toddler does not have anything to grab to go up the steps. my grandson got one like it for his niece, didnt like it because of that account. my son made bar so his granddaughter would go up steps and slid. my great granddaughter cant enough hers because dont have nothing there for her to grab to climb the steps.

little tikes slid

Bought for my granddaughter. She is almost 2 years old. Easy to put together. 2 pieces. She climbs good but the ladder and top could have something to keep from falling off the side. There is no brace in the middle from ladder to slide which seems to make it less stable. We don't have carpet so it gives a little on slick floors. She's only 26 lbs so she's not heavy. Outside in grass it does a little better. For her size it's ok but I wouldn't buy again.

It's ok

I am giving this slide 3 stars. While it is a classic, sturdy plastic slide, I have some serious concerns regarding the advertised age group and the safety of the design.
The Pros:
Sturdy Construction: It is a solid piece of plastic and very easy to set up or fold away.
Fun Factor: Once my daughter is safely on the slope, she enjoys it.
The Cons (Why I took stars off):
Lack of Handrails: There are no railings or handles for a child to hold onto once they reach the top of the steps. My 2.5-year-old almost fell off backwards and had to catch herself. It was a very scary moment.
Age Rating is Misleading: The description says this is for 18 months and up, but I definitely do not agree. Even with my 2.5-year-old, I cannot trust her on this without constant "chaperoning" and standing right behind her to make sure she doesn't flip off the back.
Steep Slope: For a "First Slide," the slope is a bit too steep for the younger end of the recommended age range.
Final Verdict: This is a decent slide for older, more coordinated children, but I would not recommend it for an 18-month-old. They really need to add handles at the top and reconsider the age grading for safety.

Fun, but Major Safety Concerns for Younger Toddler

THERE ARE NO HANDLES AT THE TOP FOR CHILD TO HOLD ONTO. Beware if this is your child's first slide because there are no hand rails at the top. There are slots where handles should be, but none were included. When the child reaches the top it can be dangerous. I do not recommend this product fo first timers.

BEWARE. NO HANDRAILS ON THE TOP.

Little Tikes Kid's First Slide a compact toddler slide with molded plastic low-height steps and gentle slope; steps remove without tools for compact storage. Suitable for indoor or outdoor use on a soft play surface, promotes balance and coordination and is often used for early gross-motor practice.
