Good product, however battery life is not the best. My grandson loves it and uses it regularly but we've replaced the batteries three times since Christmas. I have now ordered rechargeable batteries and hope that will help. I would recommend if the rechargeable batteries solve the issue because the cost of batteries at that rate is too much.

I bought my daughter one of these for Christmas and I thought it was so cute so I bought one for my niece. They are both 1 years old so they have to grow into a little but overall they seem to really like it. My daughter will sit and watch the images at night for bedtime and it really helps her to fall asleep sleep. My 7 year old son also enjoys it. I would definitely recommend this!

Such a good idea!

my family really enjoys this projector. My two boys love watching the stories, and its super relaxing and calming. The lights are cool and the batteries lasted rather long. Would definitely recommend, would also be a great gift.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If your kid likes Sesame Street, they will go berserk for this piece of machinery. Truly amazing craftsmanship and durable enough for a kid to slammo around. Projects Elmo onto wall for kid to sit and watch. Kid likes. Buy this for your kid, you will make them love you.

Great Piece of Machinery

Got this as a present for my godson's 3rd birthday. He loves it! The only problem I have with it is the need to keep refocusing the projector throughout each story. Also, it would be nice if the cartridges were easier to insert and remove so he could do that himself. He has to have help.

Overall great toddler gift

I purchase the Elmo edition verses the original due to the discounted price. I do not regret my purchase it is a great alternative to screen time for parent who do not allow screens in kids rooms. I use it with my 18 month old to wind down and get ready for bed. My six year old also enjoys using it.

Great for winding down

Got this for my two year old for Christmas and I also purchased one as a gift for another 2 year old. They both love it and get a kick out of changing the characters. It's fun to see the images projected. 
My only reason for a 4 star vs 5 is that the books are quite short. I wish the stories were just a bit longer (not too much so they don't lose their attention span but longer still)  and also the front of the projector has a focus dial, it works great, but every time the “page turns” and it goes to the next image it isn't always focused which is a bit annoying. Other wise great product. Super durable. Highly recommend!!

A twist to story time

No AC adapter (battery-operated only), no way to safely and securely orientate the projector's screen to face the ceiling (and no way to make it bigger!), the stories are too short and require constant changing, the character figurines barely add anything to the experience (they supposedly change the colors of the night light, big whoop 🙄), the audio sounds tinny and muffled, and the character pack assortment is lackluster. You're better off buying a Toniebox Audio Player as I think that will keep your toddler's attention better than this does. Hopefully Little Tikes makes these necessary improvements for a version 2!

Little Tikes' take on "Tonies" falls flat.

My almost 3yr and 4yr old showed zero interest because of how hard it is to put the story book in and out. Also, character has to be on top in order to play the story. otherwise, it's only white noise or lullabies playing. they have to wait for each book to load before the story starts playing every time. they don't get the concept of having to keep it still, or you need to adjust the image over and over top clear it on whatever serface you are using.
