[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an amazing product! For me as a parent, it acted as a nostalgic reminder of excitedly watching filmstrips in my elementary classroom. My four year-old son was just as excited. He is an early reader, so he was even reading some of the words out loud. The speaker is very clear and the stories are classics. We are enjoying watching the stories together as a family.  I love how the box can also be used as storage for additional stories. The projector holds three stories on the side as well. Take my advice, if you are pregnant and making a baby registry, register for this. Or if you are attending a baby shower, this is a great gift. The projector acts as a sound machine and colorful night light for when a baby is young and becomes a story projector when they get older. I love items that grow with kids. Highly, highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Boy oh boy I'm not sure who enjoyed this more! Myself or my 3 year old son. As soon as I inserted the first "book" I was immediately taken back to my childhood using projectors and slides to read books! The colors are very vivid, and the sound is clear. An added feature is the 6 different white noise scenes that you can choose from (with the nightlight). The one downfall I would say to that part is I wish you could set a timer. But that is not a breaking point or anything! We love it. The box also doubles as the perfect storage and carrying case!

This cute little story projector has made reading time that much more fun and enjoyable for my little one; She gets a kick out of seeing the pictures up on the wall, as well as the music that plays along as the animator narrates the story. The Story Dream Machine holds three separate stories, and they are so easy to swap out and start a new one. The buttons are nice and large, and are easy for my little ones to press and navigate. The projector also allows you to use focus feature depending on how far away or how close you are to get a clearer picture. We are actually looking for more stories to add to the collection.

Great Addition for Story Time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love reading books so they are super excited and happy when I give them this Story Dream machine, mainly because it's a new toy. It includes one story telling machine, one plug in character and 3 story cartridges. It's super easy to use, insert the character into the slot, then insert the story cartridge and play. Each story is about 2 to 3 mins but can play back and forth and adjust volume. At night time, the max volume is very loud. The image quality can be adjustable but it's pretty clear. My kids love staying in their bed with no light so they can enjoy the bed stories together. They love it but I wish each story was longer. I guess I have to buy more stories for them.

BEST TODDLER BEDTIME TOY

I bought this has a xmas gift for my 2yo son. It is absolutely adorable and he instantly loved it. Makes story time so much funnier.

We received this product for Christmas, my kids love it but the story images are so blurry. I understand you can adjust the focus but it is never perfectly clear, one side is always blurry and the next slides are blurry and you have to constantly adjust it. Maybe we got a bad product but pretty disappointing.

No AC adapter (battery-operated only), no way to safely and securely orientate the projector's screen to face the ceiling (and no way to make it bigger!), the stories are too short and require constant changing, the character figurines barely add anything to the experience (they supposedly change the colors of the night light, big whoop 🙄), the audio sounds tinny and muffled, and the character pack assortment is lackluster. You're better off buying a Toniebox Audio Player as I think that will keep your toddler's attention better than this does. Hopefully Little Tikes makes these necessary improvements for a version 2!

My almost 3yr and 4yr old showed zero interest because of how hard it is to put the story book in and out. Also, character has to be on top in order to play the story. otherwise, it's only white noise or lullabies playing. they have to wait for each book to load before the story starts playing every time. they don't get the concept of having to keep it still, or you need to adjust the image over and over top clear it on whatever serface you are using.
