my 9 month old loves it as well as my 2 year old. It's sturdy and has taken quite a beating (no pun intended).

Both my son (3 yrs. old) and daughter (1 yr. old) love it. Great for learning cause and effect and motor planning. And it's simple design isn't too distracting to play with.

Perfect for my little one. He just chews on the sticks so far. (10 mon old teething). My 9yr old actually trys to show him how 2 play. Perfect size 4 both. Bright colors. Wish had a string on so smaller kids could hold it by or drag n my case. But i can add my own. Glad i bought!

I have 2 yr old twin boys who love musical instruments. I love his drum so much. It's big enough for them to enjoy and it's so sturdy. My boys love playing with their drums together even my 5 yr old son joins in sometimes! Definitely recommend this item!

My 12 month old grandson loves this so much. He also uses the sticks to bang on pots and pans and chase the dog.

great gift

There's really nothing special about this drum. It doesn't require batteries which is nice but it also doesn't have a special sound. Pretty much it is an object that is ok for the child to hit and make noise. My younger daughter seems to like it but my 4 1/2 yr old asked me why it didn't make any sound and seemed disappointed.

Basic drum

Great price for $11.99, but this drum has a hard plastic top. This makes the sound very dull and basically my child can make the same noise if drumming on the sides of the drum. Next time I will spend more $ to get a better product that can actually create music.

Doesn't sound like a drum

While well-made, safe & colorful, the toy drum was about as exciting as beating a plastic bowl with a wooden spoon. No thump or vibration or anything to catch a child's interest.

Didn't make much of a noise at all

The drum does not produce an interesting sound with the sticks provided or with hands.  The hard plastic sticks are not a good material, they can be destructive to furniture and harmful to other children in little hands. Put the sticks away, left drum out but my grandson does not play with it.  Do not recommend.
