I bought two of these skillets to use for baking apple pies.I am very happy with the results and the quality of this product.Also very happy with the online ordering and the fast delivery to my home by Walmart.

Lodge cast iron skillet

Works well on burners as well as in oven. Durable--lasts forever--and cleans up easily.

Best cookware ever invented.

The Lodge skillet is the best. Walmart, however, was very sloppy in the delivery process. I ordered 18 skillets which were to be gifted. The 18 skillets were stacked and divided into 3 packages. All of the boxes were ripped open. All of the skillets were stuck together. Other Walmart shipping has been good. Each item was boxed separately and then put into shipping container. While the shipping was free, it was not good. I expect both free and good of Walmart. You missed the mark on this one.

Poorly Packaged for Delivery

I found this pan better than other non stick pans as long as care Is taken in following the easy wash, dry and oil instructions. The 9" size perfect for 1-2 portions. Weight of pan is manageable. Not too heavy. Take time to preheat . Cast iron is thicker . Make certain the pan cools down before washing. Wipe dry, then LIGHTLY oil with paper towel.

Exactly like picture

I am sure it will work fine but there is no assist handle as indicated in the description which was actually the reason I chose this one.  Iron skillets are heavy and the assist handle would have been handy to have when moving the skillet with food in it.  The only reason I indicated no I would not recommend this skillet is if someone else were counting on the assist handle to be a part of the skillet.  Otherwise I would have indicated yes I would recommend this skillet .

Incorrect description - no assist handle

I have only used this pan about 3-4 times. I am very careful with drying it etc. So far it is still sticking however the reason I  purchased cast iron was for the durability and claimed health benefits. Perhaps after multiple uses the food will stick less. 
Time will tell. If this is the case I will purchase a larger size.

Good product

This is the perfect size smaller cast iron pan.  However, I'm not sure what was meant by preseaoned.  This pan has been used several times in addition to an additional seasoning, and still sticks terribly.  I have one of Lodge's 10-1/4" skillets that does much better than this, but it's pretty heavy.   Forget about making eggs.  You will spend half an hour cleaning the pan.  Not willing to keep adding fat and more fat to deal with the sticking issue just to make an egg.  So now I have two of these which are probably going to be returned.

Disappointed

Followed all directions that came with it, everything sticks to it. I mean, literally everything sticks to it no matter how much oil you use.
