This Lodge cast iron dutch oven is exactly what I was looking for. Well made and not fancy. Durable and is excellent for sour dough bread making. I would buy again but I don't think I will ever need one in this life and probably my family will be using this dutch over for generations after me.

The best kitchen pot I have ever bought. It will go from stove top to oven. I have baked bread in it which requires a 450 degree oven. Well worth it especially if you have a family.

This dutch oven is great for baking crusty rustic loaves. I chose this dutch oven because it was made in the USA.

Brand new, out of the box and there are chips in the cast iron finishing.

Should have got the one at Canadian Tire

I have several lodge pieces and I have issues with the Dutch oven, the seasoning is stripped off leaving bare metal, an open invitation to rust. For this price point, we should not have to deal with this issues. I have had to return 3 pots, clearly a manufacturing and quality control issue.

Had to return 3 times!
