Lodge brand is the best made longest lasting cast iron in the world! i have every piece Ive purchased in the last 48 years! I have aged but it just keeps getting better! This is my second dutch oven (The other one has feet). I have used them in the house, camping, and even smoking/grilling. My friends jok1 qe about who's getting them in my will!  I think they're more expensive but you cannot argue with proven quality. I will not buy any other brand. They make the statement regarding passing them down and thats the truth! Thank you Lodge for a tried and true product from a company over 100 years old!

Virtually bombproof, like all Lodge products.  This isn't the most expensive, finished, polished, or shiny Dutch oven out there, nor is it intended to be.  It's a workhorse, equally at home in on over, or at a campsite buried in red-hot coals.  The looped wire bail handle is a nice touch that's not always found at this level of over.  Take care of it and it will take care of you.  It's meant to be used and will serve you well for years to come.

I purchased 2 Dutch Ovens for our cabin on Lake Sam Rayburn. We cooked a pot of Cowboy Stew in one and pinto beans in the other one over an open cooking pit my husband built. The results were delicious and fed the crowd of friends we invited over this past Saturday. I would recommend these to anyone that needs a good heavy duty pot. Best price I found anywhere.

Great dutch oven. My only comment is the inside of the lid showed a bit of rusting after first cooking a pot of chili (due to the condensation while cooking) even though I had rubbed it with oil. It may have been good to rub it down with oil & then bake in the oven to more carefully protect it before the first use. I use it on an induction burner--great for that!

This Lodge Dutch Oven can't be beat for quality and durability. Comes pre-seasoned and ready to use right out of the box. You can't beat the value of this cookware. We have one that we've been using for several years and bought this one for our daughter.

Best cast iron cookware available!

This is a wonderful product.  I purchased it as a Christmas gift for a family member.  However, I was disappointed to see it selling for $7 less at Academy Sports.

Lodge 7 qt cast iron dutch oven

We use our dutch oven when we go camping. It's great for a pot of beans or chili over the campfire. The bail handle works well for hanging on a tri-pod. Ordered online with free store pickup. Arrived on time in good condition.

Great camping pot

I was looking for a cast iron oven/pot to use on the grill for soups..ETC. This Dutch oven is exactly as billed. The criftsmanship appears good. There were no surprises when I opened the package. The metal use is of a high quality and even though I have had it long enough to "season" it properly it performed well including easy clean up with no soap. I would recommend this product.

This will become one of those treasured pass downs

My husband has wanted one for awhile. He got it for Christmas. He put a hole chicken in there and baked it. Very good.

Cast iron Dutch oven

Love the cast iron dutch oven. It was delivered so fast, that the website is still showing that it was ordered.

The pot was delivered without plastic packaging or overwrap and left on my porch on a rainstorm. The box was sopping wet and the pot was rusted. So much for the pre-seasoned option.
