Perfect for making Corn Bread. Seasoning is simply oil baked into the iron, giving you a natural, easy-release finish that will improve with each use. Dishwashers, metal scouring pads, and harsh detergents can harm the finish. If this happens, you can revive your seasoning. Be sure to lift your pan when moving it on a glass top stove. Use any utensils you like, even metal. Heat and cool your pan gradually for added longevity. No microwave.

I actually paid less than 1/2 the price of $20. I paid $8. Corn sticks, known as corn pone at my school was pretty much a daily fare. These are a lot easier to make as this is a Lodge cast iron pan. I have several Lodge pre-seasoned pans & as long as you take care of these pans, you can hand them down through the generations. I highly recommend anything with the Lodge name on it. Just take proper care of them.

i always season my  cast iron before-that means lightly coat with crisco-before use.then into the oven at 450 for at least 20 min. this makes  everything come out easily  then wipe with clean wash rag and you are ready to go again. treat cast iron this  way and you will have GREAT non-stick. Lodge in my opinion is the best.

Great pans. Two fit in my toaster oven. Be sure to preheat them in your oven & spray with baking spray for best results. First time I used them, I forgot to preheat them and corn sticks weren't as good as last time.

5 small slots for corn sticks/cornpone.   I ordered 1 for $10.99.  It arrived today and since it would not hold a full recipe of cornbread I logged on to order another pan.  They are NOW $31.09,   Amazon has 7 slots for $31.49.  What happened to the price???
I am keeping it because I guess I'll never see this $10.99 again.   My first choice is always Lodge, so I will not buy a cheaper brand.

This cast iron corn stick pan is everything a cast iron corn stick pan should be. I'm glad that US based Lodge still makes this pan. Instant heirloom.

Easy to take care of a little soap and water and a wipe down with oil and you're finished. When ready to cook with a little fresh oil or non-stick spray. It baked the cornsticks or (cornpones what my mom called them) absolutely perfect, then put a little butter and sorgham on top. Brought back many fond childhood memories.

Lodge Logic Cast Iron Cornstick Pan

Was looking for an inexpensive cornbread stick cast iron pan and this one fits the bill.  I saw it and another plus was I could pick it up in the store without paying postage to ship and received it very quickly this way.  The first time I used it the sticks stuck so I seasoned (even though it said it was already seasoned) it again and used oil inside and the sticks were perfect.  No sticking and wiped clean after use.  Best to not use soap if it needs to be washed.  I'm just now learning how to really take care of cast iron so things do not stick.  Very nice.  I did see later however that there was a larger cast iron cornbread stick skillet for a few dollars more that I could have gotten but this one is nice.

Very nice and inexpensive.  Just what I needed.

Want to see if I could duplicate the cornsticks from a resturaunt. This looks good.
