I just bought 2 of these. The product is nice looking and holds a good amount of garbage. However, when you step on the bottom to raise the lid, it is pushes across the floor and only opens when it reaches the wall.

Love the look of this garbage can. Nickle/copper look on top lid. Takes full size garbage bags. Had a problem with the stepping on it for lid to open at first. But after using it for a week, it now opens easy.  Easy to clean to. And great price! Fast shipping too

Very nice

Never thought I'd be so impressed by a trash can.  It's big; has a nice brushed metallic look (though made out of plastic, so won't rust - perfect for the bathroom); has a step-pedal lid (which I've learnt is a lot better than flip-top lids which can only fill to 3/4 of the bin before lid gets stuck in swinging open); and to top it off, I hadn't even realized before ordering it that it came with an optional divider to sort recyling from trash!  It's a plastic wand that clips into the center top, under which you can neatly secure two bags for either side.  It even has another rim to cover and secure trash bag around the rim.  Seriously, this is the best-designed trash can I've ever had...  The only gripe I had was that the online picture made it hard to see that the sides were indeed black and not just shaded from camera angle/lighting.  It still looks great, but would've preffered the brushed-metal look all around.  Still, with all the other features, I think I've found my Dream Dumptser~

Good size

Does not close itself. Have to use hand to close it. Defies the purpose of a step can. Returning it. Also, it is too big for apartment size garbage shoots.
