[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The keyboard connected and worked on my iPhone and Windows laptop. I like that the colors can be brightened, dimmed, or just turned off. The back has 2 kickstands to hold it up so it is not flat on the desk. The top right works on my devices, it just changes volume. I am not much of a gamer, but that is probably a useful feature in that context.

The best keyboard I have used

Great product

I bought this back on April 5, 2026 and so far I've been encountering a lot of double clicking with various keys. Everything else works as it should, just disappointed that this issue would be present in a new keyboard. 

I had the older version TKL in white and loved that keyboard which had 0 issues since owning.

A lot of double clicking issues encountered....

I had high expectations for this after owning the G915 and G915 TKL keyboards. Both of those are still going strong, but the ABS keycaps started to shine and eventually the painted surface wore off to the point that the keys aren't legible under normal lighting. This isn't the worst thing, since I don't frequently look down at the keys when I type. 

That said, I was really looking forward to the new doubleshot PBT keycaps on the new X LIGHTSPEED releases. Unfortunately, things have changed for the worse. To start, all my models are the tactile. On the original boards, you can feel the tactile bump. The new switches, by comparison, are a hot dumpster fire. There's no feeling of bump in the tactile switches. 

To make matters worse, the sound and feel are completely different with the new switches. The new G915 X LIGHTSPEED tactiles feel more like a membrane keyboard from the late 80s/early 90s. Some of us might yearn for that feeling, but those were typically found in the keyboards that shipped with prebuilt systems from the likes of Gateway, Packard Bell, and Tandy. 

The new doubleshot PBT keycaps solved one issue faced by the original - the secondary symbols on the numbers now illuminate (the original G915s did not), but I question the quality of these new keycaps. I've used a lot of other keyboards out there with doubleshot PBT that looked nearly new over a year later. By contrast, I've been using this full size G915 X LIGHTSPEED for just shy of two weeks and there is already a noticeable shine on several keycaps. This isn't just oil, this is a wearing down of the texture - and Logi support only says, "Shine is normal due to use." Maybe after a few months, but fewer than two weeks? Nah.

The final nail in the coffin for this keyboard is the chatter. By chatter, I don't mean the cheap, mechanical reverberation that you can now hear in the new switches, I mean the repeating of certain letters when typing normally. This was never an issue on my original G915s, but within the first few minutes of use, I noticed doubling of 'u' and now '/' when typing. Sure, there are ways to control this via software, but there's no reason that anyone should need third-party control to reduce a mechanical error. I thought this might just be my particular board, but a simple online search for "Logitech G915 X chatter" told me all I needed to know -- this is more widespread than I could have imagined. 

For $250, I would avoid this keyboard at all costs. It may look the same, but that's where the similarities end. This feels worse on ever level, to the point that I'm now pivoting to another brand altogether (my third G604 mouse has now developed the dreaded double/multi-click issue plaguing the optical switches). I'm not sure what direction I'll head, because I can't leverage a mortgage payment on a custom keyboard. I really love the low-profile design, and maybe Razer's new offering will outperform the Logi - at this point, I'm better off returning this one.

Within a months time my pc would out of the blue start continuously typing the letter x.  I had to disconnect and restart my pc to clear it only to have it start again the next day.
