Very cool and love it. Not a gamer but getting into streaming and its so cool. I use logitech for my camera and keyboard and mouse

I went with tactile and I was not disappointed. The feel is excellent. I only wish that I could choose the steady color. Blue is cool, but I prefer green and the experts in vision recommend red. Otherwise, buy this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's aesthetically pleasing with a brushed metal finish. The buttons have just the right feel when you push, and a lovely noise. You can fine tune the lighting with the app. Best part is that you can charge devices straight from your keyboard.

Love it!

I have been using this keyboard for about a month. I replaced a G413 which is nearly identical to the G513, but with only white backlit keys. The G513 has black keys with black anodized aluminum top which is nice and better matches the other components, and has a full color backlit with nice controls to selecting them in the app. The reason I replaced the G413 was double typing some lettters, I hope they fixed that for the G513. 

The only thing that I do not like is that only the primary key character is backlit and not the secondary characters. Like for the nine key, "9" is lit but the left parenthesis ("(")is not lit. I typically know where the primary keys are and need some guidance for the secondaries. They are printed on the key but with the backlighting on, and in a darkened room the secondary key is harder to locate.

Nice keyboard, good key action

The only issue I have with this keyboard is that the caps-lock light and the g-shift light in the top right corner don't work. This is just an issue with the keyboard I got though, so other than that, the keyboard is great. Works amazing and feels good to type on. Gaming with it is also great. It's very responsive and the rollover works as advertised. I bought this keyboard for the lighting and the rollover, so for the most part I am satisfied. It's also fun to mess around with the lighting.

Caps-lock light didn't work, great otherwise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from the g413 and I gotta say. You guys have really lost the plot. This was SO CLOSE to being my perfect keyboard. No extra keys, no key remover, the cord isn't a nice braided cable anymore, and the shift symbols don't light up? Why? Older models did! Why did you stop selling those for this?

The shift keys don't like up. Try to find a G513 if you can.

I needed a new mechanical keyboard for gaming and this was at my local Walmart. 
I love the keyboard but when gaming and having to hit space bar a lot, I have small hands so my thumb tends to push the space bar closer to the left end of it which causes the right end of the space bar to pop up causing the middle section where it actually registers the keystroke to not work! You'd think since it's a “gaming” keyboard they would have put more thought into the design of the space bar. It should NOT pop off! Too late to return it so I guess I'm looking for a new KB.

I wanted to love it

Prior to purchase I reviewed specifications and a user manual I came across showed the upper numeric row of keys (with shift characters) had 100% backlighting. The numeric keys on the G512 keyboard I received do not light up the shift characters, so using in a dark room without lights on makes it hard to enter shift characters. Talked with Logitech and they do not have replacement keys. If you need to type (or play games) in the dark, purchase a different keyboard with full 100% backlighting.
