Lacks depth and power in low-frequency sound reproduction.

I did a bunch of research before purchasing a outdoor bluetooth speaker. I chose this one because it's sound, performance and specs were some of the best in the industry. My girlfriend and I were not let down! She purchased the smaller Boom3. I would go Boom3 if you want a lighter smaller unit. If you dont mind the size difference, I would absolutely buy the Megaboom3.

The sound bumps and fill the yard. It's truly awesome.

Wont let you down

walmart.com

Megaboom 3, just what I been searching for and for that price I'm satisfy the sound is what I really love 1 full charge and I blast it for 2 weekends at the park without recharging easy to use fast Bluetooth connection in my phones apple and galaxy, and that's not all I dont have to worry when suddenly starts 🌧 this speaker is a true winner in a competitive market. as a user I highly recommend it you'll love it!

the name says it all... megaboom!!!

Finally, a "pill" type Bluetooth speaker that has clear music while also solid bass. I've bought almost every $150-or-less Bluetooth speaker Walmart sells and they all sound bad: usually either no bass or turning up the bass makes the mids and highs get mushy. But not this thing!! I love it!!;

this is a nice speaker with good weight and float ability the sound is a bit boomy instead of bassy but even that is ok
the bluetooth distance is a bit short maybe 50 or so feet which is why i gave it a 4 instead of 5 .. i don't care about being unable to take a phone call on it
for the price i'm really ok with this, i only use it with my spa and it's loud enough for me, not intrusive to the neighbors with adequate sound quality

disappointed in the quality of this speaker. i had the first mega boom and it was louder and never blew out. I've had this speaker less than a year and already need to warranty the speaker. the speaker is not that loud for $200. another brand that starts with the letter 'j' is better sound and quality.

My review is mainly toward the packing/shipping aspect! Being an electronic item, I would expect it to come with some bubble wrap and protection in a box! Instead it was shoved into a cardboard flat rate envelope.. NOT intended for bulky items! Speaker is working now and only thing that kept it from being crushed was the hard carrying case! Shipper may have no control over item once shipped.. BUT shipper should have taken more precautions to ensure a safe/trbl free delivery!! I am including photos of how I received the item. My wife wanted me to return it @ local WM store.. but I've already purchased a protection plan as well.. As for sound/quality of speaker.. for price I am very pleased!

Very POOR packing!!

This item is not new. It is open box/refurbished. Item arrived without a box, damaged in transit and was clearly refurbished. I would advise against purchasing if you want a new item.

Would not purchase - this item is used.

Package arrived today in poor packaging. Opened it up only to find it appeared to be refurbished. Noticed a few minor but noticeable scuffs. Turned it on

Refurbished Speaker with defective components

I took a chance and purchased one for the first time. What a HUGE mistake that was. This did not work directly out of the box. It's an expensive item to not work. All it did was say critical battery error. Even when it was put on the charger the same thing and then it shuts itself off. Left it to charge a few hours and same results! I'm returning to my local Walmart and I won't purchase another one. Quality is important and for something like this to not work - shame on them!

POOR QUALITY - MEGABOOM 3

Do NOT buy from this vendor - item was not advertised as USED or REFURBISHED but arrived with box torn open and clearly used. False advertiser.

False advertiser!
