Lacks depth and power in low-frequency sound reproduction.

Finally, a "pill" type Bluetooth speaker that has clear music while also solid bass. I've bought almost every $150-or-less Bluetooth speaker Walmart sells and they all sound bad: usually either no bass or turning up the bass makes the mids and highs get mushy. But not this thing!! I love it!!;

I did a bunch of research before purchasing a outdoor bluetooth speaker. I chose this one because it's sound, performance and specs were some of the best in the industry. My girlfriend and I were not let down! She purchased the smaller Boom3. I would go Boom3 if you want a lighter smaller unit. If you dont mind the size difference, I would absolutely buy the Megaboom3. 

The sound bumps and fill the yard. It's truly awesome.

The Best Speaker I Own

We replaced our first one after about 5 years, out doors with it, traveling it. It's a great speaker

I thought this speaker would have more bass

disappointed in the quality of this speaker. i had the first mega boom and it was louder and never blew out. I've had this speaker less than a year and already need to warranty the speaker. the speaker is not that loud for $200. another brand that starts with the letter 'j' is better sound and quality.

I took a chance and purchased one for the first time.  What a HUGE mistake that was.  This did not work directly out of the box.  It's an expensive item to not work.  All it did was say critical battery error.  Even when it was put on the charger the same thing and then it shuts itself off.  Left it to charge a few hours and same results!    I'm returning to my local Walmart and I won't purchase another one.  Quality is important and for something like this to not work - shame on them!

POOR QUALITY - MEGABOOM 3

This item is not new.  It is open box/refurbished.  Item arrived without a box, damaged in transit and was clearly refurbished.  I would advise against purchasing if you want a new item.

Would not purchase - this item is used.

Package arrived today in poor packaging. Opened it up only to find it appeared to be refurbished. Noticed a few minor but noticeable scuffs. Turned it on

Refurbished Speaker with defective components

My review is mainly toward the packing/shipping aspect! Being an electronic item, I would expect it to come with some bubble wrap and protection in a box! Instead it was shoved into a cardboard flat rate envelope.. NOT intended for bulky items! Speaker is working now and only thing that kept it from being crushed was the hard carrying case! Shipper may have no control over item once shipped.. BUT shipper should have taken more precautions to ensure a safe/trbl free delivery!! I am including photos of how I received the item. My wife wanted me to return it @ local WM store.. but I've already purchased a protection plan as well.. As for sound/quality of speaker.. for price I am very pleased!
