I had one of these about ten years ago and was pleased how much easier it was to operate than a regular mouse happy to have gotten this one and still feel the same about this product keep up the good work Logitech and WalMart don't ever stop carrying this type of product at the price you do !

No more moving mouse

This is the trackball I wished for 10 years ago.  Its contoured shape fits my hand perfectly, the sensitivity is just the way I like it, and the Back and Forward buttons are conveniently located without getting in my way.  The wireless feature is perfect, making the trackball effortless to reposition.  For anyone looking to make the move from a mouse to a trackball, I highly recommend the Logitech M570.

My old gaming mouse was giving up on me. I wanted something with decent precision for drawing and drafting at work, and I'm also a programmer so I use mostly the keyboard for everything else. I feel much better using this trackball as I don't have to move my arm all over the place. It's precise enough for my work, and the software for it seems very reliable and full of features. You can set up the wheel click, up, and down buttons for just about anything (scrolling, shortcut keys,etc). You can also save those button preferences and have them automatically load whenever you open a certain program...example, the up/down buttons can be used for forward/back while surfing the web, but when you use Word or Excel they can act like scroll buttons. Battery life seems to be awesome, after a couple weeks it's telling me it has about 481 days left, and seems to be accurate(not skipping days on the countdown or anything). I was unsure if I'd like the trackball, but fell in love with it, and this mouse is great for the price!

What I was looking for

The trackball works very well, and has several flexible functions. The button functions can be changed to accommodate both left and right-handed users. The trackball body form is designed to support the user's hand so movement is restricted to fingers moving the control buttons and thumb moving the tracking ball. The driver installation was automatic once the USB wireless receiver was plugged into the USB port on my laptop, and the trackball power switch turned on. The system was connected to the internet, and the trackball initiated driver installations immediately. I'm not a great fan of technology because so much of it doesn't work properly consistently. Putting this system into operation was very easy, and it has worked extremely well for me. I recommend this product for anyone tired of using a mouse. It is very comfortable and doesn't require hand movement to accomplish communications with the cursor.

Excellent alternative to a mouse.

This mouse stays put!  You don't have to push it all over your desk to make it work.  It takes a little getting used to, but it is worth it! You don't need to have a mouse "pad" either.  It sits on my oak desk and works beautifully.  Your hand has more room to "rest" on this mouse rather than the other type.  It's quick, I don't change batteries hardly ever, you plug in the usb, and it works!

Very happy with my purchase. One less wired to worry about. Easy to install. Works perfectly. Very good price. Word of advice, buy online and pick up at the store. It was less expensive to purchase that way.

Logitech Wireless Mouse

This mouse does cost a bit more but it is worth it if you do a significant amount of panning across your screen. Your mouse cursor is moved about by simply flicking your thumb and can be done with precision making it good for graphic and CAD work. No more sliding your entire mouse around. This is why it is also good for using with a laptop (along with being wireless). You can sit on your couch and place this mouse on your armrest and not worry about having a flat surface like you would with a standard mouse. Also has extra buttons that can be programed to suit your needs. Just bought this second one for at home.

Great for graphic or laptop work

My desk is much neater and this mouse is easy to maneuver. Definitely worth the money. Not for left hand use.

No more ugly mouse pads

I was a little worried about conflicts with a wireless router and wireless Logitech keyboard and trackball on another computer. No conflicts at all with the others. So much easier to use than the mouse that it replaced. A lot easier than the mouse on the hand and wrist.

Unit is great. Ordered shipped to store because they were in stock. Walmart had it shipped from New York. Bought a new one at the store $13 cheaper. Because the shipping took nearly took 14 days. Going to take it back to the store and get my money back on the unit because of the delay in shipping.

i bought this mouse two months back.  its was great till now. Just yesterday left click of the mouse died. So the mouse now is completely useless. i tried to find the issue online came to know that, the left click usually fails if regularly used. if you need it to work you have buy left click part separately again fix it with soldering tool, which is again will fail in few months.  lucky i had my old mouse. so its a worse situation. But I WOULD NOT recommend this mouse for anyone who is working daily more 6 hours with the mouse.

Do not buy if you are using mouse regularly
