Very nice machine produces a lot of heat. But the reason it is missing one star is it does not have a fan.......

Portable quartz heater

This is a good heater for the price. Ours sits the largest room in the house, a 12x15 living room. It actually heats there and into our walk-through kitchen. it is a slow heat ... so expect it to take some time to warm the room. It isn't heavy, but not too light so it's not bumped over easily. It is quiet, which is a HUGE deal to me! It produces a nice, even heat without the dryness that comes with most other forced air heaters. It's slow but very nice. I wish we had bought more!

Slow But Nice!

This is a good heater for small spaces.
It comes in black or white and either model is decent looking without being to industrial.
The heater warms immediately and the space warms as well.  Unfortunately, the big problem is that it lacks a fan to move the warm air forward.  You may want to get a tower fan style heater.

Electric heating when oil costs are high!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Can quickly heat up a bedroom but as it turns on and off it is very loud. Depending on your setting it will contantly be cycling between on and off

warms a small area very loud

Worked well for one day then became non-functional.  We got it for our travel trailer and it worked well to keep the living area warm but only for a day. Returned it to Walmart with no problem.
