Putting Together

This product is a sturdy well built top loading file cabinet.. Lockable and mobile.. Easy to assemble and very pleasing to the eye!

I like this item. Normally I don't have any problem assembling bookshelves and other products, but I must add, this was the most difficult Item I have ever assembled. I've assembled ceiling fans that were easier to do. But it's the price was 1/2 of other products I've researched, and it is of good quality. As difficult as it was to assemble, I would purchase it again. It was a great value.

The instructions weren't as clear as I would have liked, but it was fairly easy to put together with two people, and  included  a mini wrench so all that was needed was a screw driver.  I have had good results.  It is good value for the money.

A decent product

Wish it was a little sturdier, but it serves its purpose.  Not quite like the old school steel cabinets from days long ago.  This is powdered metal and is a bit flimsy and will require two people to put together - or one person with the patience of a saint and no inclination toward frustration and throwing uncooperative stuff out the window....

This file is a little awkward to assemble. It would be very helpful to have another person to assist with assembly. The file is a little flimsy until it is assembled. The addition of a little grease such as Lubriplate, applied to the lid slides with a Q-Tip, is HIGHLY recommended.

Assemble wit great care.

Easy to assemble, but had missing keys for the lock. That was the reason I bought this due to that I can lock it...now I have to go buy a lock with keys.

The last piece to screw in the holes are not a lined properly so that leaves me at awww :-( and now I am trying to close it and I cant get the lid up to close it kinda frustrating.

Filing cabinet

Once it was together it was quite sturdy, however the lid kept coming off, I felt they could have done a much better job of attaching the lid.  Took a little longer to assemble than expected and the little wrench included was a joke.

Lorell Standard Mobile File

The concept was good but mine doesn't with like it was meant to. The lid is suppose to lift up, slide down and stay open it need to. Mine doesn't do that- I have to physically take the top off and set it aside to access the files. Such a hassle. It was alot of work to put together- too much of a hassle to send it back...
