Can provide stability on some carpets, but may struggle on others.

It is the size as advertised and it's appearance matches the ad. It is very smooth, I've got it over hardwood and seems to be fine. Can't talk to durability since I've had it about a week, we'll see.

Love it! Clean look, sturdy, and does not move around like regular chair mats. The chair glides ever so smoothly. I will be ordering another one for my daughter.

Smooth Operator!

Clear as glass, which it is. Sturdy. Heavy. Big enough for a standard swivel desk chair. Only downside is how heavy it is--which is the point, but makes it a little difficult to put into place. The box it came in was filthy, apparently because of the forklift used to get it on the truck. But overall we are very happy with these mats.

Glassy-clear and sturdy

Tempered glass material is way superior to the plastic/vinyl chairmats that WILL develop ruts and cracks no matter how thick they advertise to be. I paid a little more than I wanted to for a chairmat but this was on sale and I couldn't pass it up. Free shipping as well, plus it was delivered the next day. Sturdy packaging to avoid damage. Very smooth so rolling on casters is easy. The clear glass allows the carpet colors to show. It is quite heavy so handle with care, or use 2 people, as the product guide suggests. Even though there is a lot of weight, it will still walk slightly over a short-pile carpet. Consider using the adhesive pads enclosed.  I anticipate life-long service out of this chairmat. All-in-all, this is a great product and I am very pleased with my purchase.

Great Product

Incredible product. Chairs "glide" on these. Bought two for wife and myself. Less than a third the price of the ones advertised on TV, and free shipping (these babies weigh 40 lbs each).

This tempered glass floor mat is a super bargain! It's a simple and very practical office solution. Fits perfectly in my home office and you can't beat the price!

Best glass floor mat!

I had a wooden plank chair-mat that worked pretty well until it started coming apart. I tried re-gluing it to no avail.  So far, I am very pleased with this glass mat. It is said to be scratch-resistant and is able to withstand 1000lbs of weight. It looks great in place of the other one. The box says, "With rubber pads", which were not included with mine. However, this weighs a lot and will stay in place on any surface.

Very Good Chairmat

I always wanted a clear glass chair mat and never thought I  could buy one for this price.  Makes using my desk so much more  user friendly. Rolls easily from my computer to my desk. Last one I priced was  several hundreds of dollars- this one under $80. If I had an office with several desks I'd order one for each desk.

Glass Chair Mat  for a Very Affordable  Price.

This was a good idea except for one major flaw.   I like how easily my chair moves knowing the wheels won't get caught like in those plastic pads! The flaw-there is no lip for your wheels to get close to the desk so my chair always pops off the pad when I try to get closer to the desk. I hate that because the glass pad is so thick. Im afraid this will eventually wear and eventually start cracking and splinter the mat. That is my only but major complaint! If they could just add that lip.

It came scratched.  I'm calling Walmart today to switch it for another.
