It's heavy cast iron I seasoned it well after washing with soap. I wish it didn't have the groves and was a flat surface.  It doesn't stick to your hamburger meat if you season it well.

this was supposed to be for SMASHBURGERS!! This has deep grill marks that will annihilate the hamburger
