There's not many books about foster care that really have a good understanding. I especially love this book because I went into foster care at 7 years old and the illustrations and text really hit home. I also love that in the back the foster child that gets it can put pics and write memories in it!

This book is so tender! It touches all parts of one's heart for the foster child assuring the child that this foster parent is going to love him or her no matter what, no matter where. And, a place for pictures and fondest memories at the back of the book truly makes this book a keepsake for every foster child.

A very sweet and simply worded book. Brings tears to my eyes as I can feel the sincere sympathy in the author's words. It really is a perfect book for any child in foster care.
