We used them to wear for Halloween on a person.  They are the same size as plug in lights.  Takes 3 batteries.  No issues.  Not a bad price for two sets.  May use them for Christmas table decorations.

These are a great buy.  The batteries last a long time and there's good brightness. I used on small bushes outside.  Being battery operated and on a timer is  wonderful!

Very disappointed. Ordered two, wire on one was not connected.  On the other one, half the string stopped working within a day or two
