It is made with real beef for irresistible flavor and scent-Dogs can tell the difference. Sourced and manufactured in the USA. Lumabone dog toys are not edible and should be discarded/replaced when appropriate. Dogs deserve better chew toys. My dog would chew the legs off a couch while you're sitting on it if given the opportunity.  He has loved this chew toy!  It's got real bits of beef in it (which apparently he can smell %26 thank goodness I can't, haha) and he has taken to it like a pig in mud.  My furniture legs, shoes, and baseboards are excited for the relief and he is happy toting around his fancy bone.

The Best Bone for my Enthusiastic Chewer

The dog wouldn't chew on this until I smeared peanut butter on one end.   Then it was 'All Systems Go!'.   Now it is the go to chew toy.  Seems durable so far, but keep an eye on your dog.  My pup chews everything, like a billy goat.  Hope fully this will occupy her for a while.

Durable nylon bone

My dogs love these bones. They are aggressive chewers on their toys so it's a must to have them last. Not many do unfortunately. These bones have lasted almost as long as I've had these dogs! We got one at 9 weeks and one at 4 mos. They both have now just turned 2years old!! Crazy right?! Nothing that they've chewed on has lasted as long as these! Yes, they have other toys that get attention but they always come back to these bones. I got them new ones because the first ones are almost too small for them to handle now. You just can't go wrong getting these for your dog, aggressive chewers or not.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. My dog loves hard chew toys, so I was excited to try this. He carried it around for a while before he decided to start chewing on it. After an hour of chewing, his gums were bleeding because he got down to the sharp plastic pieces inside the bone. My dog is a 40 lb Aussie-doodle and not an aggressive chewer.  I was disappointed that this bone only lasted one hour. Per the company's website directions, the bone should be discarded when plastic shards appear.
