The curtains fit my window perfectly and block out the sun which is a nice thing because my husband works graveyard and sleeps during the day so these help keep the room nice and dark for him.

It's also energy efficient, helps block out noise and is machine washable. So many great qualities in this Prima Velvet Color Block Curtain.

I am not really sure about it keeping colder air out.  Only time will tell as it gets colder.  They are a great length.  I haven't laundered them to determine durability.   I definitely recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new Prima Velvet Solid Taupe curtains compliment my living room decor and help to insulate the window from the cold. They are not stiff like my old ones were and they are easy to open and close. I like the way they flow and the taupe color is very attractive. They do a good job keeping the glare of the sun out when closed so we can see the TV screen better. They are machine washable. I would recommend these velvety curtains because they are lovely and also practical!
