This is actually lighter than I thought it would be. I was expecting meat chopper type weight but it is actually a large knife. Very sharp,  so be careful. This knife would be ideal for chopping larger vegetables like cabbage or used for dicing up some chicken breast. 
Its a very good sharp knife,  and I expect it to last a long time.

I buy it because I have used it for two months in my sublet. And after I moved to my own room, I definitely want to buy the same one because  I do love it.  The weight, the sharp blade, the comfortable feeling, for Chinese lifestyle cooking it is perfect

Honestly didn't expect much for the price but this knife is no joke. Heavy in a good way, came sharp, and hasn't let me down yet. I've used it on chicken, pork shoulder, butternut squash — handles all of it without me having to hack away like an idiot. Feels sturdy in the hand, not cheap or wobbly. Glad I grabbed it.

Very sturdy %26 now is my number 1 choice when cutting up large slabs of meat or any size of meat like chicken breast.  The wt of the blade makes it so much easier to slice through.   I'm thinking of ordering another one for my daughter.

its a beautiful butcher knife, it cuts very sharp, not too heavy on the hands, cuts and chops all sorts of meats right through the bone, im glad i  bought it. Great buy no complaints, no problems with delivery .

I'm a Season Cook %26 I don't know how I have lived without this Butcher knife ‼️This butcher knife cuts down my time in the  kitchen , I'm NOT grabbing a different knife for every time I cut up a chicken , I already know for sure that I ONLY need the Lux butcher knife 🔪 It's Exactly what every Cook needs! It's so good I'm buying for All cooks in my family as Christmas 🎁

Lux Butcher Knife

I can't evaluate this knife as a meat cleaver since I don't purchase meat. However, it meets all of my needs admirably. It's well made, sharp, and should be durable. Even if it doesn't hold its edge, I can buy four or more of these for the price of other meat cleavers available on Walmart.com. Highly recommended.

Inexpensive, functional, and versatile

The blade is extremely superior to any of  my prior more expensive purchases.  So sharp I think it should have a sheath included for protection.

For the price, this is a good butcher knife. It was very sharp at first for about a month, then I saw it wasn't cutting as good. But that's no problem because then I got a knife sharpener which is a game changer in the kitchen. 

This knife is heavy and provides a good amount of weight required to cut through big pieces and bones. So this is why I recommend it. I don't like using lightweight knives for such pieces no matter how sharp they may be. Its handle is comfortable to grip as well. Be mindful that it'll lose its sharpness fairly quickly so invest in a knife sharpener!

Good knife overall if you have a knife sharpener

It has a very low price, so I wasn't expecting much, but it feels very heavy and sturdy in my hand,and is very sharp and precise. My hand is small and it doesn't feel balanced to me, but I have never had one of these hatchet kind of knives before, so maybe I'll get used to it. Overall, for the price it's a good buy.
