No drainage holes but great for putting the nursery pot right in

This metal planter is painted white with a gold metal stand is elegant. 
I am a little concerned for the edge which is a little rough.  (see photos)
There is a sticker that says "for dried floral only". (see photo) Not noted in the description before purchasing.
I'm having difficulty finding the proper size pots to slip into the metal planter.
