I cannot analyze the water to see if it disinfects but it has nice, but strong-smelling ingredients. My washer makes it difficult to pour in unless I pause the cycle so I pour it in the lid finger slot—that works only if I catch it in the rinse cycle.

I like that this takes the stinky out of my teen's clothing. Cold water washes seem to get out the dirt, but the remaining perspiration smell on clothing, not to mention germs, need an extra boost at our house. This works for us. Easy to use cap measurement.

Our answer to stinky clothes

Used for stinky boys/men's clothes, towels, bedding and even rags and rugs, I feel it helped in the rinse to add a freshness to those items out of the wash. Fabrics even dried  better. I bought another brand to try (on sale) and it leaves a sticky residue to the compartment. I definitely prefer any under the lysol brand

Fresh and Clean Laundry

This stuff is amazing! We are on well water and being able to sanitize clothing is important. Leaves clothes smelling clean and fresh! The scent is not overwhelming or bleach-y but rather a fresh linen smell. It's really great stuff! Works perfectly on kid, pet, and farm living smells!

Must have

I work in the dental field so my scrubs are covered in germs %26 this is a MUST. I would recommend it to anyone. You never realize how much germs affect the smell of your laundry, especially towels! This is a great addition to your laundry routine, my laundry has never smelled better.

I put my faith in the fact, it does what it says it will do(and, hope it hasn't fail) ; )
Germs?(above, not a scientist).
Any lingering towel odors are removed(my experience thus far).
I would recommend this product. : )

Laundry Sanitizer

Excellent product. I add it into my laundry and no matter how dirty the laundry this product gives me the peace of mind knowing the laundry is clean and everyone will stay healthy, especially when used for Pet beds and items. I Would highly recommend. Only complaint is I wish the price wasn't so high, but to me and my dogs it is absolutely worth it and we always feel clean.

Lysol Laundry Sanitizer- Great Product

I bought this product to remove stubborn odors in my laundry. I didnt put salt in my water conditioner for many  months. I have very hard water . 
i used this product and the odor was eliminated. A few towles had to be soaked.
The smell in the bottle is strong. I was concerned the smell would just mask the odors and be overkill.   After wahing and drying the products smell disappear.
 If you dont like strong smells this product will not be an issue .
I dryed in the dryer and hung to dry, no strong product smell lingered.

Works

It's a great product, BUT you have to add it to the rinse cycle. My washing machine does not have a separate dispenser for the rinse cycle and I can't stand there forever to wait for it to get to the rinse cycle. I wish I had read all the instructions before I purchased this.  I haven't used it much for that reason. Next time I buy a washing machine, I'm going to get one that has a rinse cycle dispenser.

Works well, BUT, and it's a big BUT

in order to get to the directions, you peel away the sticker/label on the back to get to the directions, it is impossible. The directions are the same size as the label and are stuck together. Tried fingers, a hair dryer, a razor blade, they will not separate.  Went to the web site to get the directions, they have directions, but you must agree to their terms. I don't need your spam, be put on a mailing list, and i don't need to waste any more time on  your product.
I would suggest the board of directors buy a few bottles on line (don't pull the fresh ones right off the production line), and see if you can get to the directions at a future board meeting.
