[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] as soon as you turn on the dvd, it starts playing the first episode instead of giving the menu.  switching from one episode to the next is cumbersome; you have to go through several menu steps. the formatting of the menu and the controls are not user friendly.  Love MASH but this makes it hard to watch, forget about bingeing.

MASH is great, dvd format is clumsy

I just finished the first season and inserted the 4th disc (1st disc of Season Two), and it does not work. I tried it in three DVD players, and it just spins and spins, locking up the mechanism. How can I evaluate that which I cannot play?

As for Season 1 (of eleven), the best part is that you can play audio withOUT the laugh track. That alone makes it worth viewing. Having said that, audio was not remastered and is only in mono format. Video quality is straight from whatever film they pulled it without any remastering at all. All visual blotches, dots, blips, etc. are all there.

Navigation is torturous: rather than advancing to the next episode, the menu takes you back to the episode you just watched, and it's a multi-step process to advance to the next episode.

Some Discs Don't Work, No Video Remastering

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The disks for seasons 5 and 6 do not work; they don't load and when they do FINALLY load, maybe only half the episode plays.

SEASON 5 AND 6 DVD'S DON'T WORK

So far 3 of the DVD's are not working. This is so sad since MASH is one of my favorite shows. It's not worth the price if you can't view the episodes.
