M. Graham provides great, rich colors and pigments that stay vivid even with a lot of water. The binder in the paint is honey, which helps the paints from drying out and cracking on your palette. This particular set has a really nice and saturated turquoise and violet, and some nice neutrals that lean red and yellow.

This was my first M.Graham experience and it was excellent. I own several other artist brands, and I especially like this one. Each of the 5 tubes were in good condition, with the violet a bit firmer than the others. The honey makes them very easy to re-wet which is a big advantage, as I pour the tube into palette pans. The colors are all beautiful and work very well together either pure or mixed. Shipping was very fast from the US based 3rd party to Canada, with no surprises of additional duty taxes. A very nice introductory set!
