Cool Calories Saved My Horse !!

I bought the cool calories 100 because a friend recommended it. I had two geldings recovering from ulcers so i needed something high fat but easy on their systems. Very happy with the product so far!! Easy to feed and the horses love it, never any left un-eaten. I will continue to buy this product!

I have been feeding this as a top dressing on his grain mash to my pushing 40 years old miniature horse. It has kept him nice and round :) 100% recommend to anyone with a hard keeper. I love that cool calories also is no worry of too much protien, etc being injested by your horse when you have to feed senior feed or such as well.

Wonderful product

I am on my second bag and have been using this product for three months now. I started doing two scoops a day and increased it to four scoops. I have a 16.2 hand purebred Arab gelding that is hippy and a picky eater and this has done wonders! He is filling out beautifully and now has dapples all over his coat. I have also started feeding it to my black half Arab gelding and he is so dark with dapples and his coat is so soft. He does not need any help with weight but I started giving him two scoops a day and his coat has really bloomed! Highly recommend this product!!!

Miracle product!

I bought my first bag after my horse had dropped a bit of weight after a bout of ulcers, he was not bone thin but not his normal self. After we treated the ulcers he needed some extra help so started him off gradually as the bag reccomends. 5 days at one scoop and didn't see a major difference so we bumped him up to two scoops for two weeks and WOW! What a noticeable difference! He's currecntly in one scoop in the am and two in the pm and even the vet noticed he is looking great and the other people at the barn are changing to this product from beat pulp, rice bran oil etc becuSe ethis stuff worked so fast and safely. Also he has not been hot at all. I would reccomend this product to anyone who needs to put some weight on thier horse but if you have a horse that needs a lot of help, it's probably going to take longer than three weeks;) Ohh and my horse doesn't eat any suppliment in a powder all of our smart pak brand suppliemts he gets I. Pellets but this stuff he cleans off the bottom of the bowl!

I've used this product on my 21 yr old hyper-model TB gelding for over two years and I swear by it. First things first, my guy is the type that drops 100lbs if you sneeze at him. New horse in the pasture? Minus 50lbs. A butterfly flapped its wings in Paris? Buh-bye 80lbs. OMG Farrier day? Let me just look half-starved today, you get the idea, he's a hard keeper. This product has helped me single-handedly thwart his aspirations to be the horsey version of Kate Moss. I feed him the full dosage in Smartpaks and also sprinkle another scoop liberally on his favorite night time snack, warm soaked beetpulp. He holds weight nicely without me adding a bunch of bulk to his feed for him to get through, his coat is shiny and dappled. Definitely worth its weight in gold, wine and cheese.

Bikini Body Killer.

My senior horse was loosing weight so I put him on cool calories. Since then he has put on enough weight that I can't call him skiny. The first pic is before cool calories the second is 4 weeks and the third is about 6 weeks. I only wish it would have helped his topline more. But overall it did the job.

Did the job

Tried Cool Calories after my 33 y/o mare came out of last winter looking gaunt. My vet recommended it to at least get her back to a manageable weight before winter; finding something safe for a horse with Cushings who had previously foundered was a big concern of mine. I've seen a huge improvement in three months ramping up from feeding one to three scoops per day. Part of the reason I feed so much is because she can be a picky eater and won't clean her bin if there's leftover supplement, so some unfortunately goes to waste. However, her weight gain has been more than I had hoped for in three months considering I'd tried everything short of leaving an open bag of senior feed in her stall and pasture. I couldn't be happier with my results, but I do wish my horse liked it enough to eat the whole scoop instead of wasting some.
