Been wanting a chopsaw for a while at my job. A lot of carpenters have the Dewalt 780 12 inch I did not want to go that route.  Thankfully, Milwaukee redesigned and came out with the 12 inch so I had to pull the trigger.  Has great feel, angle rotate is smooth tons of power especially with the 12 ah battery, the battery life has been amazing.  Showed up to work with it. Everybody couldn't stop watching me un box it.  A Carpenter at work took it from me and has been using it since.

I freaking love this saw! The only feedback I could give it that for its size the motor could be more powerful. Maybe double battery or something. And also having dual power source options so we could use battery or cord would be quite handy!

This saw is the best saw that I've ever had I can take this saw anywhere anytime any place without worrying about chords trip hazards or looking for outlets anything like that I put my battery in and I can just go thank you Milwaukee. you guys should come up with a tile saw that takes battery only that would be very helpful. And a  Recyclable water system so the water doesn't get over everything. I would love to start some type of a Co-Op program through our Union where we can use your products give a great review on the products and then you can sell them back to us for a price . That would be a great promotion for both companies.

I'm a huge Milwaukee guy. I previously bought the cordless table saw and was pleasantly impressed so I bought the sliding compound mitre saw. It is equally as impressive. I highly recommend any Milwaukee product. Only game in town for me and my employees

So far it is a very impressive saw easy on battery, quite and came very close to true not much adjusting needed to be done. My previous saw had the laser and I never used it because it was always wrong shadow line is the way to go too bad it took company's this long to come up with this.

Great saw, was looking for a 12" upgrade for a few years now and heard a lot of good things about this one. Minor tweaking out of the box, very accurate, love thenkne key feaure and the mobility of it being cordless. I've nownused all 3 cordless mitre saw options and they are impressive with run time. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend

I install siding for a living and mostly use LP Smart Side products and this 12" saw paired with the forge battery is a beast! I can stack 10 pieces of siding on at once and it powers through them without a problem. I'll get two days of cutting out of one charge.

12" Fuel Sliding Miter Saw

I'm a trim carpenter and I mill hardwoods on the side so mobility of this saw is great. It has the power to cut through any oak honey locust or ash from my mill with ease. The single battery is definitely nice when it comes to swapping and the 12.0 will run for a a good 6 hours of cutting base and casing on a jobsite. Yet the but is that I've replaced this saw once already because the blade brake went out after only a few months. The plastic handle on it is a bit flimsy after a while, and since Milwaukee doesn't make a 6' miter stand I have to use a DeWalt and it sits so far back that it tends to lean back a little on the stand.

I have followed the instructions to square the saw 4 times, and every time after a half day of use the saw will loose square again. The red plastic on the bottom has warped and lumber won't lay flat on it. I have been happy with the 10in model, but I have been very unhappy with this 12in model.
