Ok, I don't really "own" it. My cuz lives with me and we both own ps3's. Well he got it when it first came out and we started playing it. At first I thought it was a poor game but then after a wile I got addicted. I must admit, as I own it I play COD MW2 a lot. As the MW2 is just a "run & shoot" game and has better graphics I still play it. But I really do admit you HAVE TO buy it if you LOVE fps shooters.

Little hackers because of quick patches

Cons:
For alot of people team work is needed (I work just fine alone ^^)
Not recomended for some one that is looking to fight cpu's
No single player (missions)
No same system multiplayer
If your squad leader gets mad at you (mine often does because I wander off to kill people) they often use rude language.

Great Product!!!

First off, this game is online multiplayer only. That means that if you don't have your PS3 connected to the internet, then this game is useless.
That standing, this game is amazing. You can be in games ranging from anywhere between 32 players to 256 players. Sounds like it would be chaotic, but it's actually somewhat organized. After ranking up, players are allowed to be commanding officers. Each side has 128 players, which consists of 4 platoons, which consists each of 4 squads, which each consist of 8 players. You can be a squad leader, platoon leader, or even the Officer in Command of the entire 128 player army. (Each leadership role coming with bonuses, and responsibilities).
People work together in squads because you get experience and health bonuses for sticking together. This creates a teamwork state for everyone which is almost shocking in its scale and how well it works.
Other than that, it's your run of the mill first person, squad based, shooter. You rank up, and unlock attachements and upgrades and new weapons. Very deep, and addicting.
The only reason the value doesn't hit 5 stars for me is cuz there is no singleplayer, but that's not a big deal. A definite online multiplayer game for everyone.

Good, but only Multiplayer

I was able to get into the last beta they had in early November. This game is developed by none other than Zipper Interactive, the developers behind the famous and very popular Socom US Navy Seals series. I expected a high quality game that lived up to everything Zipper said about it and this title has. If you have a PS3 and like the FPS genre, this is a 5 star must own. You get the choice of helping one of three different factions and every game you play helps your faction. Play with 32 players up to 256 players, earning ranks and leadership abilities, while being able to earn different skills like resurrecting dead players or being better at sniping

Keep in mind this is a multiplayer online only title!

With many different missions, some with 250 ppl playing at the same time, its a fun exciting game. Skill level isnt a big factor u can be lv 1 and still take out a higher level. Awesome graphics, an RPG lv up style makes it fun to create your character the way you want to fight. A must have. Was lucky to get to be in the beta before the public beta and was glad i did. Must have i think its better then Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Played both already!

Great action multiplayer game!

I think this game is awesome. There is no lag and it can be funny listening to people communicate. If you love first person shooters and want to play online with others BUY THIS!!! I can careless if you cant play offline. I bought this cause I want a game thats dedicated to online play. To me its more fun playing with others than a computer. It is so sweet!!!

Awesome!!!

This game is simply amazing guys. It is created by zipper interactive and from them you would expect the best and you get it with this. Their is no other game like it once you get the feel of this game you I guarantee will feel the same. It is very intense .... and they continue to make the game better and better by updating constantly. I keep up with the website and they claim their will be some even more exciting things to come for this game. I have also herd remors of expansions and huge changes ... it's fun guys even tho it is 60$ dollars and is only multiplayer it I would more than say is worth every darn penney!!!! I have already logged 180 hours on this game and still love it. I usually dont put this kinda time into a game but once you play it you will see why I say this !!!! GET IT GET IT GET IT!!!!! MUST HAVE!!! MUST HAVE!!!

AMAZING GAME!

Rented this game first but after playing it I had to buy it. Like most games it gets repetitious after awhile but since it's only online, the other people make it fresh at the same time. A lot of game-play for your money, I have over a hundred hours of game-play and still playing.

Great online game!

Since you have a general idea about this game allow me to get more detailed as to why I say that it isn't great. This is no doubt a fun game to play if you enjoy 1st Person Shooters (FPS). First, you choose your Player network. There are three choices (Valor, Raven, & Sver) with each network having their own characteristics and equipment/weapons available. I'm not fond of not being able to test different networks with the same player. Leveling up system similar to Call of Duty using Experience Points (XP) gained by completing mission objectives, eliminating the oposition, and healing/resuscitating teammates and so on. Here are a couple of key notes:
-The maps, although limited, are MASSIVE! Almost impossible to explore the entire map in one game.
-The graphics are not as sharp as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (which is to be expected b/c the size of the maps and # of players), but decent.
- Actual gameplay is a lot more technical/tactical than your basic FPS. This isn't meant to be a "Run-&-Gun" type of game. Game is not as fun if your teammates are treating as so.
-Not very many game types. As where the Call of Duty series have an array of different games to suit the player, MAG has only 5(?).
-I will say that there is a bit of a learning curve from playing Modern Warfare 2. Controls differ slightly. Movement, especialy jumping, seems a little slow. Aiming takes a little adjusting to also.
-Respawn delay. For me, it's glitchy at times which is really fustrating. I've read about this happening with other players so I know that it isn't an isolated incident. Maybe just be the connection.
-Lag Free! You would think that with so many players in one game that "lag" would be a constant issue. Well it's not! Lag is suprisingly not an issue at all with this game.
All in all, this is a good game. There are a lot of people (including me) who have the tendency to compare this game to Call of Duty. But it's not fair to do so when this is more of a tactical only game. I would also recommend renting the game before purchasing it just to be sure you would enjoy it.

Good (not great) Game!

This game is ONLINE ONLY and as of january 2014 the servers have been shut down rendering this game unplayable. I gave this product 2 stars because it works pretty well as a drink coaster.
