Glad I Tried This!

I buy this every year and give it to my gelding with anhydrosis. I give it from May through September and he hasn't had any problems with not sweating. It's a great product.

Works for my gelding

We have several horses on this supplement.  We feel it helps them overcome their anhydrosis. It is palatable and I would recommend it if your horse has a hard time breaking a sweat.

Grrat Product

My main rope horse suffers from the heat to the point of colic when the temps get high.  I started her on One AC this spring and had no episodes this summer and it has been very hot!  She sweats more easily when working and just seems more comfortable overall. Thank you for a cost effective supplement that works.

I have a 28-year-old Cushing's horse. A warmblood with a thick coat that has been managing his ACTH levels with Prascend but still had difficulty cooling off in the heat.  Consistent body clipping and adding One AC to his AM and PM buckets has helped him manage through the North Carolina heat and humidity much more comfortably.  Will start it sooner in the spring and keep him on it thru early fall next year.

Depends on the horse

I am loathe to write a negative review, but I've seen no difference with this product.  My horse developed anhidrosis a few years ago. Now each year, the first time the temps hit 99 degrees (we live in Texas), he stops sweating completely for the whole summer until temperatures come down consistently around October. His sire's FL career also ended early due to the same condition, and both I and his sire's owner have had no luck with this supplement. Summer is pretty much the off-season for us because he overheats so easily. I am trying another supplement this year, but I'm not holding my breath. For anyone else with a horse suffering from this condition, I hope this product works for you, but you're NOT crazy if you don't see a difference. It seems to work for some, unfortunately my guy is not one.
