Required a spare fan for my living room, easy to build and does a great job of spreading out the cool air.  Wish it came with a remote but apart from that it's great value for the price 
Already convinced friends and family members to purchase the fan as it's much cheaper than the competitors versions.

This is a typical stand fan with everything you need under a good affordable price! It comes as unassembled but it won't take you more than 10 minutes to build it up and it's easy enough. I'm satisfied with its performance, do everything it supposed to.

Everything budgeted fan

This is a good affordable standard fan suitable for cooling down in the summer time. The set up is very simple if you follow the instructions. It's seems pretty durable and I expect it to last me at least a few summers. It is suitable for any room in the house and the  lack colour goes with any decor. I recommend buying if looking for an affordable fan that gets the job done.

Straight forward set up

This was purchased through a promotion, but for the value I would have purchased it regardless. We use it in our living room and it is very quiet when watching TV. The oscillation covers the entire room which is 15x15. I'm very pleased with the overall performance.

I'm a fan of this fan

I purchased the mainstays 16" fan just less than a month ago. This is my first time purchasing a fan. It took only a few minutes to put together. The fan works great and really needed for this heat we are having this summer. The oscillating fan moves left to right and has 3 speeds. The fans noise is pretty minimal as well. Highly recommend for anyone who is in need of a fan, no disappointment

A Great Fan

I picked up the Mainstays 16" Stand Fan because of the recent heat wave.  At first I was skeptical because the box was quite small but I was pleasantly surprised once I put the pieces of the fan together.  It was incredibly easy to put the pieces together, literally taking minutes only, and very soon after I started I had a fully functioning stand fan.  Plugging it in brought some nice relief from the heat.  The 3 settings are adequate, and the fan pushed a nice amount of air.  The fan is quite light weight, so it's easy to place anywhere in a house.  Overall, it's great value!

A good value fan!

The fan went together relatively easily and took about 5-10 minutes total. I like the way you can select your speed by rotating the dial as well as the color of the fan. My main complaint is that it is a little noisy when it oscillates but it's fine for sleeping.

Gets the job done

Mainstays fan is a great hit.  It can extend tall enough to keep a person cool while in bed and low enough to be comfortable while working at the computer.

Windy Enough

Earlier I bought this exact fan and it was wonderful.  This second one is not as good - it is noisier and not stable on its base as it tilts.  I'm going to return it and either purchase another one of the same kind as the first one did work just fine or try out a different model.

16" Fan

Very flimsy fan, the legs constantly fall off. The whole thing kept falling over at the slightest touch and the cover would fall off and I'd have to run and unplug the fan before one of my kids got near the spinning blades. I brushed against it this morning in the kitchen and one of the legs fell off (again), the fan hit the floor and one of the blades broke off completely. Now it is unbalanced and can't be used, so for the garbage unfortunately. I suppose you get what you pay for. Will spend a bit more next time.

Very poor quality, lasted less than two weeks
