I bought one of these despite the negative reviews.  Mine works great.  You can adjust between a fine spray and direct stream by screwing/unscrewing the nozzle.  I've been using it for a few weeks now as my primary spray bottle for cleaning with a homemade vinegar solution.  Based on my own experience I would probably buy it again.

Working great, guess I'm lucky!

I received a blue one today. It works but it can only spray a stream, no mist. The description shows adjustable nozzle but that's only to open or close it. If you're looking for a stream only bottle, it does the job.

Bought a green one to use for ironing. Trigger, nozzle and tube inside all wiggled even as spray mechanism was screwed securely to bottle. Lasted about 30 seconds into ironing before it broke. Three squeezes in on the first use the spray gun mechanism snapped where it attaches to the collar that threads onto the bottle. Not reccomended at all. actually I'd reccomend Walmart replace it with a sturdier product.

Broke during first use

I purchased 2 of these in-store. Used for water only - no cleaners or chemicals, so the problem wasn't due to thick solution or plugging. The 1st bottle sprayed about 6-10 times, then the bottle & collar dropped out of the handle and fell to the floor, handle still in my hand. Tried to fix it, but could not get it to spray again. Wanted to finish the project I was doing (rinsing oven cleaner off the ceiling and walls of the oven) so I filled the 2nd bottle with water and tried using it. Nothing. Not a single spray. 

I'm embarassed to admit that I spent some time trying to fix them. I mean, they're water bottles - not a complicated piece of equipment. As silly as it sounds, I figured I must be doing something wrong... *because they're so simple, they should just "work." I tried adjusting the nozzles, removing the little filter things at the bottom of the hoses, putting them back on again, trying to tighten the collars (the 2nd one also came loose from the handle), plugging the vent hole on the hose housing to block air from entering, squeezing the bottle right-side up, sideways, & upside-down while using the trigger to try to prime the pump (get the air bubbles out of the hose) - tried this with nozzle open, as well as with nozzle closed.... on both bottles. I give up - they're just junk. I peeled the UPC labels off so I'm not sure I can return them, but instead of throwing them in recycle I will 'give' them back to the store so they can return them -and my note- to the manufacturer as feedback. It's not the 6.65 ish spent per sé, but that it was wasted money. 

I noticed that reviews on this spray bottle go back 5 years ... with the SAME complaints. So WHY are these still even being sold, with the SAME problems as were happening 5 years ago?? This product should either be FIXED, or pulled completely!

Why are these still being sold?

Got one and it broke first use, handle came off, thought I'd try a second one just to see and it broke first time using it. Stay away from this product.
