Interactive Steel with Turbo Sword consists of a sword and a gadget called Steel. The sword without Steel is just a basic sword that lights up and makes sounds when you press the button on the sword. When you attach Steel to the sword, the sensor built into Steel automatically lights up the sword and makes sounds when you make chopping motion or hit something with the sword.

Steel can also be attached to a display stand or a t-shirt. In this mode, Steel just talks and lights up. Some kids will find this mode fun as well, but in my opinion, the toy is not as fun when Steel is not attached to the sword.

My kids love this Max Steel Turbo Sword. They think the blue light and audio is awesome. The boy in me loves the Turbo Sword too. However, I'm not a fan of the loud noise it makes when it automatically powers down after inactivity.

Note: the sword is light-weight but can still hurt if someone smacks another kid with the sword. It would be a good idea if you tell your kids not to hit someone with it. BTW, I am posting this review on behalf of One2One Network. All opinions are my own.

We recently had the chance to check out the Max Steel Interactive Turbo Sword.

This contains one sword, a Steel action figure and a stand for Steel. The sword on its own is fun and very durable. It stood up to plenty of banging around as my 7 year old fought off all the bad guys.

But once you attach Steel to the sword, it becomes a whole new toy. Steel makes the sword motion sensitive. So that each swipe of the sword is accompanied by plenty of battle noises and bright blue LED lights.

Steel can also be worn on your shirt so that your child can transform into Max Steel.

Great toy for anyone who loves playing the hero from ages 6 to about 10.

Max Steel Turbo Sword is FUN for all

I got this toy for my 6 year old son and he loves it. It's a fun sword because it's interactive, and it look like the actual sword Max Steel uses on the show. Unlike many other swords he has, this one has more features. It makes sound effects when in motion and the attachable Interactive Steel had phrases with the voice of Max Steel! Definitely a toy that will be put good to use!

I am posting this review on behalf of One2One Network. All opinions are my own. We received this item to review for a party full of 3-6 year old boys. It was easy for them to use and not to heavy. The features were simple to operate, and even though some were under the recommended age, it was still fully usable. Their were no sharp points, and even when my son whacked another upside the head, there was no damage to the sword or child. I say that since that is the way the majority of boys play, it held up to the standard roughness test well. I would recommend this toy to boys for imaginative play.

Lots of Flashy Fun

The sword and action figure are exciting and make a lot of noise. The sword lights up and seems sturdy. The problem is the attachment between the sword and action figure. They need to be connected to make the sword play all of its noises. The attachment breaks easily. Bummer.
