mY APARTMENT TOILET SEAT was WAS PLASTIC AND MOVED EVERY TIME I SAT DOWN; INCHING MY LEGS AND BOTTOM! MANAGEMENT WOULD NOT REPLACE IT WITH A SEAT THAT HAD METAL HINGES THAT STAYED IN PLACE. SO, I BOUGHT THIS SEAT! NOT ONLY VERY NICE QUALITY TO 'LOOK AT', BUT VERY FUNCTIONAL; THE METAL HINGES ARE VERY CAPABLE OF 'STABILITY' FOR MY 190 %23 DISABLED BODY WEIGHT! LOVE IT! AND MY CABINETS ARE ALL OAK HARDWOOD TOO!

BEAUTIFUL; FUNCTIONAL; 'PRICED RIGHT!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It even came with a one year warranty which is amazing -- the instructions for installation were very simple and easy to use for a woman who will soon be 77 years of age (lol).

The toilet seat is very nice and comfortable. It goes with my bathroom cabinets and vanity, and I'm very pleased with the color easy to clean and maintain

easy to install. easy to clean looks great in my bathroom

great value

one side doesn't stay tight. the hardware gets very loose often.

Price is a little high, seems solid, color is mostly consistent throughout with some areas darker than others.

Mayfair Natural Reflection wood toilet seat

I didn't want to go cheap on something one uses every day which is why I selected and ordered this seat. Chrome hinges are fine, (plastic always breaks). When they said natural, they meant it, I would have hoped they would have clear coated with something for a polished look but they did not. The worse is that underneath the seat and lid there were only 2 of those support things instead of 4 like a quality seat should have. See photo. Shame on you Mayfair! I had to add the missing ones myself.

Quality disappointment

Had this seat for 2 months and under the seat it's made of plastic and they were in pie ces with only that shirt amount of time, I did get my money back so that's a plus for the seller which i appreciated very much because this seat isn't cheap and it shouldn't be made out of plastic.

Recommend a different seat

The material/wood itself is good but once installed you have to constantly tighten up the screws. Although the seat fits my toilet it slides and moves around when sitting on it. And the hinges on the seat is also not good. the way it's made the seat can come loose from the back part although the screws are tightened. The way it's made I wouldn't recommend this particular wood seat.

The Mayfair wooden toilet seat was delivered Feb 11. Early June one of the two tabs underneath the seat cracked and broke apart. Why they don't make this piece solid is just being cheap. It's $30 and I could have simply paid $20 for another seat.So anyway I removed the other tab on the other side.It came off super easy, too easy.So at least now it's even.It also doesn't stay tight so I still have to deal with that. It's junk.
