I have had it for a few months now, and I am pleased. My only complaint is that the fastener nut does not stay tightened.

Nice

I didn't want to go cheap on something one uses every day which is why I selected and ordered this seat. Chrome hinges are fine, (plastic always breaks). When they said natural, they meant it, I would have hoped they would have clear coated with something for a polished look but they did not. The worse is that underneath the seat and lid there were only 2 of those support things instead of 4 like a quality seat should have. See photo. Shame on you Mayfair! I had to add the missing ones myself.

Quality disappointment

The wood seems like it has no finish, which is weird for a toilet seat. The hinge bent/broke after a month. It looks nice otherwise.

not woth it

The material/wood itself is good but once installed you have to constantly tighten up the screws. Although the seat fits my toilet it slides and moves around when sitting on it. And the hinges on the seat is also not good. the way it's made the seat can come loose from the back part although the screws are tightened. The way it's made I wouldn't recommend this particular wood seat.

The Mayfair wooden toilet seat was delivered Feb 11. Early June one of the two tabs underneath the seat cracked and broke apart. Why they don't make this piece solid is just being cheap. It's $30 and I could have simply paid $20 for another seat.So anyway I removed the other tab on the other side.It came off super easy,too easy.So at least now it's even.It also doesn't stay tight so I still have to deal with that. It's junk.

One of the bots to bolts to bolt on to toilet didnt screw into the  hinge bracket and plastic nut wouldn't even screw on to it. Other side was no problem. so only one side screwed down. Have to hold on to the seat as you sit down so it does not slide off.

After only one week, it already has a small crack. I was very disappointed, and since it took me 2 days to get the old one off, because of the annoying white nuts, it is even more disappointing to me.
