I am pleased with my first telescope! I'm a beginner with astronomy and star gazing.  It's holding up well.  It was affordable. 

I probably need more instruction on what exactly to do with all the pieces.  I've stayed with the main piece to gaze at the moon, planets, and stars.  It's good for a beginner adult and a child with an adult's help.  I see the moon clearly, but strain to see Jupiter, it's moons, and Venus.  But the fact that I can find it is satisfying.  I will definitely upgrade in the future.  But I recommend it for anyone new to this.  I don't recommend going for anything lower in focus.  I am really enjoying using it.  So much so, it just stays out ready to observe, instead of in it's carrying case.

Found a new Hobby

The telescope may be ok for day time viewing of mountains and other far away objects, but is not suitable for observing the planets or other sites at night. I actually returned the telescope for a refund.

Disappointed with the image quality night viewing.
