As a kindergarten teacher I'm always on the hunt fr inexpensive Mega Bloks. My 6 year old students like to build giant buildings they can play inside. What I love about this set are the varying shapes. The pictures are stickers you can choose to put on. My 8 month old loves to mouth then and knock down towers I build. A great toy/gift kids can enjoy at many agest

Great gift

it was an addition to my kids block set, so now my house is full of blocks.. my kids love playing with it all day.. just con is cleaning up... oh.. so many to clean as my kids still learning to clean.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my one and almost a half year old as I noticed he enjoyed mounting things and knocking them down recently, however, he still does not know how to "build" properly and has more fun throwing them around, which is all good to explore at his age! Just very messy for me. Had I thought of this I probably would have bought a smaller pack instead of the full 200 piece set. I was a bit disappointed that the blocks don't all stay together very well (they come apart very, very easily) and that the lid doesn't really function as it shows in the picture to hold as a base for any little structure. All in all I believe he will have loads of fun with it in just a couple of months and for now I just put some blocks away so there wouldn't be so many to tidy every night! The colors used are great for babies!

Vibrant colors

[Employee of walmartcanada] This was a birthday gift for our toddler who loves to build towers. Great selection of blocks, love the large storage container they come in BUT the cover was really flimsy, only the single or double blocks would fit onto the lid (and it wasn't even a tight fit) I broke the lid 20 minutes in to playing with my toddler. Lid went in the garbage.  That being said, they variety, colours and stickers for blocks are great and the storage conatiner is large enough to hold the ones that came in it plus the 80+ more blocks we had already.

Love it! Lots of different blocks but you can't really build on the top. The nubs are to small and far apart. The blocks just fall off or don't fit.
