Appearance

Feature detailed figures and are easy to follow.

Pieces are separated and stored in marked packets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 9 year old, video game obsessed, Lego lover really enjoyed thus Mega Halo set. The instructions are easy to follow and the figures were very detailed and look more "grown up" than typical building block sets. He really enjoyed this as his first Mega set.

Would purchase again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids loved this playset. It kept them busy for hours between taking the time to build the set to spending time playing with it. They loved that it looked like came straight out of the game! The two players were an added bonus!

Fun toy puzzle that keeps kids busy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a fun build. There were many moving pieces that made it different from other building things we have done in the past. It includes 2 figures that can bend in many different ways. The turbos actually move.

Fun Build

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mattel's Mega Halo UNSC Hornet Recon Aircraft Vehicle Building Set is great fun for kids and Halo fans of any age! As a parent, I greatly appreciated how the pieces of this aircraft vehicle building set were separated according to part placement and stored in packets marked 1, 2, 3, etc. making it much easier to build. In addition, the instruction booklet that accompanied this set were clear and concise helping to make it a seemless task in putting the pieces together to end with an actual Halo UNSC Hornet Recon! This set took my son, with just a little help, about an hour and a half to put together. The satisfaction and sense of accomplishment as this aircraft was coming together & once completed was exciting in and of itself. With that being said, he's barely put it down from playing with it since it was completed. The detail that went into this building set is quite impressive and allows for so much fun in playing out different scenarios! Thanks to the poseable action figures, moving turbojet engines, and a cockpit that opens and closes, there's endless fun & excitement to be had. For the Halo fans out there, this building set will definitely give you bragging rights. Whether you're a kid looking for creativity & excitement or a fan that wants to showcase his newest model, you're sure to love Mattel's Mega Halo UNSC Hornet Recon Aircraft Vehicle Building Set!

Fun Building Set For Kids & HALO Fans of Any Age!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] MEGA Halo UNSC Hornet Recon Aircraft is awesome as my 11 year old so kindly puts it! Halo toys are always a huge hit and anything that he can build makes him so excited and focused on having a great time. Instructions are perfecr and the final product is pretty cool.

MEGA Halo UNSC Hornet Recon Aircraft

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you like to build things like legos this is a good project. If you're new to building (like us) please keep in mind some of the pieces are small and can be easily lost. The directions are relatively easy to follow.

Halo Builder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mega Halo set is labeled for 8+ but my 8 year old son had a hard time putting this together my 13 year old son ended up doing it for him. It took my son a little over 1.5 hrs to put together by himself. The airplane once put together moves when pushing the lever back and forth which is cute. The little men that hang on the side are nice but beware they fall off super easy when you touch it. Overall a nice set but keep in mind the level of attention span your child has and if they can spend time sitting and following directions.

Nice set for display

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Figures were a little tough to get together because the connections were really tight, but really cool once together. They come with weapons that snap into their hands so they're a *little less* likely to get lost. The pieces of the aircraft fit perfectly together, so they're less likely to break apart while playing as well.

Solid quality, sturdy construction once built

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The MEGA Halo UNSC Hornet was fun and relatively easy for my son to build.  Pros:  This was built in only a few hours.  It is accurate and scaled nicely.  Small enough for little hands but also large enough to fit in the display area.  The 2 figures that the set comes with really helps to complete it and brings the whole experience to a new level, achieving more fun for my son to play with.  Cons:  Some of the pieces were difficult to snap together and was a bit fragile once put together.  Was not sure if there was an error in building it, so we tore it down and rebuilt it but came back to the same issue.  We had to super-glue a few of the pieces to make it play ready.  Once glued, this is now one of my son's favorite toys and holds up to his active play time.  Conclusion:  It is realistic, age appropriate to build, compact but large enough to display however super-gluing some of the pieces in the set is not really what we like as my son likes to build and teardown and rebuild over and over again.  With all considered, It is a must add to any collection and we are very happy to add this to our collection.

A must to any collection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So this is really cool. All put together it looks really awesome! The biggest downside is that is really really tedious to put together. The total time it took for me and my son to build it fully was an hour. Still a cool toy and we had a lot of fun working on it together!

Cool but tedious

Figures were damaged/ falling apart, Walmart did great tho fast and packed well
