[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son took a good while putting them together. There are many pieces 621 to be exact. All three come in separate bags and pieces are not too small. Once they were all put together they looked great good way to keep my son entertained.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set got my 9 year old off of the electronics for several hours, as he put it together, and he was able to put it together on his own although not without challenge, which is perfect! When he finished, we felt as though he had accomplished something great and spent a few more hours playing with them. This is one of the best toys we have right now and I am so pleased.

SUCH A GREAT PURCHASE!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My nine year old son loves building toys, but we hadn't tried any sets yet from Mega Construx. Since he is also a huge Pokémon fan, it was a no-brainer to choose this set for him. He was impressed as soon as he opened the box—he loved the way the three different builds had their own compartments within the package, so it was easy to choose the parts for whichever set he wanted to build. He was able to follow the instructions easily and only needed help once or twice when he struggled to get a couple of pieces to fit together right, but otherwise he completed the builds entirely on his own. He has enjoyed playing with the completed figures and looks forward to displaying them on a shelf in his room once he's finished playing. His only complaints were that the Raichu figure's tail is kind of heavy and makes it difficult for the figure to stand on its own properly, and the Pikachu's tail is gray instead of yellow as it usually is. I suspect more Pokémon Mega Construx sets will be on his Christmas list this year.

Lots of Pokémon building fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son was really excited to receive this toy. He loved that it had three characters and that it was fairly easy to put together. The only frustrating part was some of the instructions. Some spots showed how to put some pieces together, just not the exact way they went together. It was a bit of trial and error, but we managed to get all three characters together.

It falls apart very easy.
Some pieces have a solid click when pushes together, others don't. The ones that don't fall off.

Item has lots of small pieces to put together the 3 figures. However, not all the pieces were included and manufacturer is not being easy to deal with to get the needed parts (mostly put together and don't want to start from scratch again).
Do not get as a gift if you don't want to disappoint the person.

Missing pieces/Manufacturer won't help

I bought this for my 5 year old son. And we are very disappointed because there a lot of missing pieces.
