Rated 1 out of 5 by Terri from Not a good puzzleI thought this would be great for my grandson to learn numbers, colors and counting all at the same time. However, I notice he kept trying to put the blue puzzle piece in the blue puzzle spot but that was for a different number. Why would you do that? I also got the fish puzzle were the yellow fish goes in the yellow spot. So when he did this puzzle he was confused. Why wouldn't you make the One number the same color as the spot it goes in instead you have the number 7 red. I had no idea they didn't match. I had to throw it out so he would not get confused learing his colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Revivedlife from Count to solve!I love this puzzle! It not only has the puzzle aspect to it, but helps the child to be able to count the number of objects(I believe animals in this case?) and then correlate that number to the actual digit it represents. Wonderful and colorful. My 4 yr old loves it! :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by LaykensMomma from Puzzle FunOur son is 7 now, but from the age of 2 to 4 this puzzle was one of his favorites! It provided hours of fun and would keep his attention for 20 minutes at a time. Because it's so durable, we just got it back out for our 20 month old, and I have no doubt that it will become one of her favorites as well!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Luke's mom from Wonderful Teaching ToolI was having trouble teaching my 2 1/2 year old son to recognize numbers versus letters and to count. Within a day of using this puzzle to teach these skills, things finally clicked for him, and he was able to identify the numbers 0, 1, 2 and 3, plus tell me that zero meant "all gone"!! Now, I know that this puzzle alone didn't teach him all that on its own; but after struggling for months to teach him to recognize numbers, it was such a joy (and relief!) when he was able to do so without my prompting while playing with this puzzle.
